I have had this card for years and love it. We own an Airbnb and pretty much everything I put on this card is a great write off. Advertising, cell phone, car rentals. Use it for all my business travel!
Don't have a lot of ad spend for my business, but 100,000 points is hard to pass up for one card. Plus, I'm waiting (more like hoping) for an elevated Reserve bonus soon, so this would be a good filler until then. I'll probably just downgrade to an Ink Cash or Unlimited before the 2nd annual fee hits.
I don't think we'll see a 100k CSR bonus anytime soon. One of my friends didn't apply when it launched and has been waiting 5 years for it to come back. Could've earned and qualified for another offer within the same timeframe.
Hopefully this offer is available for a few months, I just applied for the Hilton Business card based on your previous video and this offer came out just days later. I'll still take both bonuses if possible 😎
🚗 I liked how you specified that this card is good for ads. That is projected to be my biggest spend for my business as we grow into the following year.
🚗 You inspired for a new video comparing the cards with cell phone protection or even primary car insurance. It would be interesting how CIP compares to no AF cards like the unlimited version or other banks that have those perks (deductible or coverage).
Good stuff. I have used the CIP for a number of years. My only frustration has been the $150k cap on the bonus spend so I have been very selective on what goes on the card. 🚗
As a truck driver, the 3% travel category on the CIP is a strong pull for me and lets me complete a lopsided chase trifecta w/ the Chase Freedom OG and Chase Unlimited. How about a 🚚 emoji instead of a 🚗? 😮😊
I have a relatively large spend coming up for some flooring which may cover half or more of the required 8K spend. That makes this SUB very appealing for 100k points. I have a Freedom Card I rarely use and have the VX almost at the required spend on along with the Hilton Surpass which I just got the other day. Wasn’t planning on entering the Chase ecosystem right now, but this may be a very good opportunity. Thoughts?
I am very interested in this card after they dropped the minimum spend. My business might not spend enough to justify the $95 annual fee every year, but the 100,000 Chase UR points are a great bonus
Asking for a friend, what are accepted vehicles (🚗) for minimum spend? Basically, if one were to put groceries or other everyday spend related to their business (in a grey area sense), is there a penalty? What does Chase deem non business spend to be? Also, if you downgrade in a year, will Chase not offer you business cards in the future?
I plan to get the CIP over the CSP for the higher SUB. I would assume that in order to have the travel protection I would need to use the card to book my flight with the airline and the rental car company. What if you are using miles to fly (ie. Rapid Rewards wtih Southwest)? How do you get trip protection?
🚗Hey Sebby, I've been thinking about business cards lately. If these small business cards hold people personally liable, Why do some banks seem to care about you having a good business?
🚗 Can I get a step by step plan I can follow to churn out the most amount of chase points in the next few years? I will enter the world of Chase business cards soon but I wish there was a step by step plan out there to get the most amount of points (what card to start with/what card to get next). I know there is a way to churn cards by alternating EIN and SSN
Sebby I have a question, hopefully you will soon make a video on it but I’m looking at the chase business premier card and it says “points earned with ink business premier cannot be moved to other chase cards or chase transfer partners” but also says i can redeem my rewards for cash back if intimate rewards… can you please please explain?
Points earned on that card are ~cash back since they're not transferrable (like CIP, CIC, CIU, CSP, CSR, Freedoms, etc.). More here: ruclips.net/video/WC6vAQzdiHo/видео.html&ab_channel=AskSebbyBusiness
I'm thinking of meeting the spend requirement by paying for my tuition with my credit card. It'll have a $230 convencience fee, but I think its still worth it. Does cancelling afterwards hurt my business credit score? Would business credit score matter a lot in the future?
Yep! That's a common tactic. Rewards > fees = worth it. Most business cards rely on your personal credit for approval (especially the small business cards from issuers like Chase). Closing has no impact for our purpose :)
Almost all businesses can run ads, depending on budget + performance ROI. Physical products, tech co's, small local businesses, etc. If you turn off ad block and check Instagram or RUclips, lots of examples.

🤙🏼 thank you for the info. But sadly, the CDW doesn't cover international rentals. (I think)
I got this card after they dropped the requirement of spending to 8k to get the welcome bonus. This is a keeper card for me.

:) Ink cards are great value (and also great long-term cards)
🚗 This card could easily be worth it right now for the welcome bonus alone in my opinion. Super solid review here Sebby!
🚗 I liked how you specified that this card is good for ads. That is projected to be my biggest spend for my business as we grow into the following year.
🚗 now that they’ve lowered the spend amount to a reasonable number for us small business owners. Time to get that 100k.
This! :)
I got this card on thursday night when the deal was announced, approved by friday morning!
🚗

🤙🏼 sapphire preferred vs ink preferred ?
🚙 I stack mine with the other Inks. Having my phone and streaming services on the CIC pays for the whole set up

🚗 Thank you for this information!
Just got it for the sub but also for its 3x shipping multiplier and reduced spent on sub. Will add the Ink cash in few months for the 5x multipliers.
Solid pickup :)
Good video and info. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Q: do you know the min credit score need it?
Got this card last year for bonus. Now got the ink premier to pay my taxes
Can you do a review of:
Brex Credit Card
Ramp Credit Card
PNC Business Card
TD Bank Business Card

The new SUB is interesting for sure!
I only want this card for the sub, i would immediately downgrade to a 2nd CIU on year 2
Why on year 2? Why not 6 or 7 months later?
@@DefSquadFan points can possibly get clawed back for downgrading before your 1 year mark.
Also y downgrade early if u already paid for the full year.
@@DCGEMINI202 That brings my other question. Why downgrade instead of just canceling the card?
@@DefSquadFan to keep credit limit, credit history, good relationship etc
@DCGEMINI202 Can you get a new welcome bonus if you downgrade?
Just applied for this today
woot? :)
what kind of credit score they looking for this card? I have CSP.
700+ is usually fine. Maybe 750+ if you want to play it super safe.

I have the CSR as a personal card, does it make sense to have this one as well?
🚗Hey Sebby, I've been thinking about business cards lately. If these small business cards hold people personally liable, Why do some banks seem to care about you having a good business?
Do I need a chase bank account to maximize this as well? I'm a little lost there
For me, the Ink Cash would be a better option🚗🚓🏎
Although that has a foreign transaction fee depending how much you travel abroad
@@CryptoData true! But I have 33 Credit cards so I'm still good 🫡
🚗 I want the 100k points, but I don’t want the card..

Hi Sebby, if you downgrade for ink unlimited would you still be qualified for the miles that unlimited offer?
No, you don't get a bonus when you upgrade/downgrade or have the product when you apply.
I might just roll the dice and try even though I’m over 5/24
Let us know if you get approved. I got approved for IHG Biz at 8/24
How did it go?!

Hi can I use this card to pay for my taxes to get the bonus.. or will I get clawbacked
Yes, you can pay your taxes with it.
Got it

What types of businesses do some of you run that have significant ad spend?
Almost all businesses can run ads, depending on budget + performance ROI. Physical products, tech co's, small local businesses, etc. If you turn off ad block and check Instagram or RUclips, lots of examples.
What about the business premier? It has 2.5% unlimited by any purchases
But that card is real cash back. The ink preferred is UR points
@@theplatinumog3283 so is the business premier and it has no spend limit
Deep dive for anyone reading this comment (TDLR not transferrable UR points!): ruclips.net/video/WC6vAQzdiHo/видео.html&ab_channel=AskSebbyBusiness
would you cancel your personal chase sapphire when signing up for this?
Why would you want to? The Chase Ink Preferred is a business card, so it won't affect your 5/24 status on your personal.
If you get value from the CSP, keep it (primary CDW, etc.)
Otherwise, downgrade to a Freedom Flex / CFU (or a 2nd of those if you already have one).
If i apply for one with an EIN, can i apply for a separate one with an SSN? I have a sole prop
Yes, you can. Just make sure your FICO is in the high 600s/low 700s.
Yep! Technically separate and can get it twice.
