    Are these constants' values also valid in Stevens Power Law or are there other values? Where I can find constant values for Stevens Power Law?

    Hi Kristin. I've a question regarding the Signal Detection Theory. Could you please explain how the threshold itself is determined before measuring decision bias? Do we first measure the threshold using various methods (e.g., method of constant stimuli) and only then proceed with measuring the bias?

      Are you asking how the fixed low intensity stimulus is set?

      That is a good question. I would look at empirical research that uses signal detection, they will describe the specifics of their methods in detail. However, there is a lot known about the general level of perception (for example human hearing ranges from 20-20,000 hz) so you would want your stimuli in that range to be perceptible.
