calling people monsters is a little harsh... espirecially when you realize your just calling a hurt child a monster when your faced with a kid that faces bad parents you dont call them a monster you try and help them but once they pass 18 you guys are so quick to call people monster and forget that they were once a traumatized child that shapped them into the adult they are today yes your right the cats better off with the cop but he or she isnt a monster and no ones an angel the only monster in life is the devil 🤦🏻♀(ADD ON) yes i know they were wrong of that and theyre an adult they should know better but the truth is they dont to him or her these things are considered okay because of how they grew up because of the influencers around them

I recently lost my cat of 17+ years. No idea how old she was; I got her from someone who had no business caring for his own life, let alone that of an animal. She got me through some really bad years, and never asked for anything but the essentials in return. I miss her greeting me when I came home, and cuddling while we watched tv at night. How people can be so cruel to such loving animals I'll never understand. Some people make the world a worse place by merely existing. Glad the kitty is in good hands now. Hopefully, they'll get to enjoy many years together.
They're the greatest litmus strip that humanity has, if my animals don't like you I know you're a two-faced evil person. Kids start off this way and end up growing out of it, most of us change as we get older as we develop respect for our surroundings and environment. Those that don't still get their vibe picked up by dogs and cats, they know better then we do with people. The reason why some people can hurt animals needlessly is because they are *evil* and should be treated as such; thrown from towers, cast into the ocean, burned in calderas, etc. The whole of humanity does *better without those people* as a part of us.
Don't forget the use of woodchippers for them as well.

I think a lot of people see a police uniform and immediately think aggression, but seeing this man smile so proudly with his little kitten on his shoulders is down right cute. And it wasn’t just 1 picture of them in that pose, there were multiple haha. I can see that being their go to “pose” for many many years. I hope the kitty can grow old on those shoulders.
I'm thinking that yeah, the police forces in the USA have major, major problems. But you can still see that this officer did a good thing with rescuing and then adopting this kitten.
It’s not a problem that only exists in the US. But it really warms my heart when I see that there are good people, who do want to do the right thing.

I love this sweet story so much. However I do need to bring up something. The reason for aggression with police is when you don't listen to the police. i e. When they say stop you keep moving - driving off or running away and/ you try to fight them and whip out a weapon. When the police feels his life is in harms way while on duty, they can and will escalate action. Why should the police whose job it is to protect the nation, give up their lives? Whose to say whose lives are more important than the other? To put it in perspective, let's take this very same officer and imagine he's found himself in a grave situation where a gun is pointed at him. If he attempted to defend himself and shoot the perpetrator and killed the perpetrator AND the perpetrator happens to be black, what would most (if not all) of us be saying about him now? We should all ponder on this for a second before we rush to judgement and label police officers as aggressive and violent.

I found my calico girl in the middle of a busy highway on May 9th, 2022. I think someone dumped her there because I don’t know how she ended up in that spot without being hit by oncoming traffic. No facility would take her and she has her forever home with me. She gets showered with love and affection and has brought immense joy to my life.

Leo was found by my Mother-in-Law, barely old enough to eat solid food, in the bushes, like a hawk tried to snatch him up, but dropped him (which did happen in that neighborhood). He was scrawny. Now, he's FAT. And I'm trying to keep him on a diet. My cat named Penny was found in the middle of the road, starving, trying to eat a bird that had been run over by a car. I got out of my car, and just scooped her up, and went back home. I'd been on my way out to get something to eat.. I ate in, and I had a catpanion the whole time. My dog named Lil' Chief (named by my late wife) was found in a park, starved, beaten, dehydrated, and possibly SA'd (he has a very pitiful reaction if you even accidentally bump his butt). He's now 13 years old, and very content. They're all spoiled horribly. Chief just got done having a fried egg and a bit of bacon and toast.

Because they find their forever home in the end, it just happens to be the same as the foster home. That sounds like success to me! Regardless, though, this is heartwarming and lovely.

theres no such thing as a foster fail in my eyes. there is a bond and llove that is unseperatable. period. i fostered many many cats and knew within hours if i was keeping them or turning them over for adoption. some, it took a while to build it up, but i have 4 cats in my house, two were "foster fails" (i knew i wasnt letting them go though)

I pray to God that all the abused animals will have their own ‘heaven’, where they will live forever in eternal bliss, like all who belong to God will be.
Since there will be soooo many, they will need their own space, but will be available to those in God’s Great Heaven, for visiting. :)
Our own, personal pets will be w/us, if that is our desire. I’m referring to those who never had the love of a family, owner, working animals, those who were slaughtered to feed a planet of insatiable people, those we used for our own, sadistic amusement, others who were hunted down for trophy status, or just pure, sick satisfaction. Those who suffered mercilessly in research labs, schools & fight rings, puppy mills....
People may think I’m nuts for praying for that, but all life comes from God, & He created animals for us. To be providers for not just food, but so very much more, that too many ppl just don’t see, or acknowledge.
So overall, we are not the good stewards we were meant to be for them. Or for this once perfect planet. We ruin everything. :/
So they deserve what they didn’t get here, b/c of us. And we serve a merciful God, Who loves His Creation.
And since nothing is beyond Him, that’s really not much to ask, for incredible beings that never did a thing against Him. They just were what they were meant to be...unless man corrupted them, of which they didn’t have that free choice we were blessed with. Jesus didn’t have to die for any of them. He had to come here to conquer death for us.✝So we had a chance to live.🙌
Didn’t mean to get into all that, but I feel strongly about it. Animals were created before we were. The lived in blissful harmony, before we took that away from them. Animals are throughout the Bible & are mentioned in heaven. So, why not those animals be ones who were already here & served a purpose?
Just the way I see it. And I look very forward to it! Like they do here, the vast menagerie of incredible animals, will just further enrich perfection! ❤

Because people suck...and instead of taking care of their pets they discard them..
...we actually have a cat that was thrown out of the window of a moving car, my mom found him while my dad was driving, she asked him to stop and picked him up...he was in a really bad state, we didn't know if he would make it...after he shown to be a fighter, he stayed with us, he still has traumas thought 🙁
He is still with us, but he seems a lot more happy, likes to play, slide down the stairs (any idea why cats do that?), loves to be pet and has show us his belly and love to sleep in my sister's room (she is his favorite 🤭), he only hates vet visits (or get inside any car to be fair) and loud noises, he used to be scared of brooms and knives (not anymore, yet we try to not use them when he is near, just in case)

@@agua9999 I don't know, but I don't think so, first the way he was found, his jaw and mouth were broken, the point of his tail is also twisted, indicating the poor thing couldn't even try to use his legs to prevent the fall, he just crashes and roll over, then he was placed in a bridge road like place where is too high, cars go on the brigde while cars, even busses also run under it, like I think his previous owner hoped that either he died after being pushed, been run over or he would fall from such high and then be run over...he was in a corner, unmoving when my mother spotted him...the little fella was at his limit, he didn't even try to fight back and smelled really bad (and yeah...this is harsh but that smell was the coagulated blood in his mouth...people can be real demons sometimes...), english isn't my first language, sorry if I sound off...
I just glad he did make it and seems a lot better, but the real hero of the story was my mother, she was who saw him, picked him up, even if he smelled bad (like if he came from the drain), later took him to the vet...my dad was supportive and later we helped him...again, he is doing a lot better, thought when he opens his mouth, it shows twisted teeth)

Cats purr for a lot of reasons and not always as a sign of contentment. They also purr when they are injured or in pain. The vibration is how they heal themselves. Glad you got her checked out and thrilled you found each other.
Police have to respond to calls like that, and all sorts of other ones as well!
