- Psalm 127 is the eighth in the series of 15 psalms each with the title, A Song of Ascents. Most believe Solomon to be the author, yet it is possible that the psalm was composed by David for Solomon. In this psalm, the psalmist is speaking in a powerful and poetic way about God's work in building houses, cities, and families.

I am reading Isaiah..your response on Isaiah 42: 21-25..The Servant’s Song..” is beautifully interpreted..”God’s purpose in the fiery trial is to bring us to repentance and softness of heart, and the more we resist that work, the more the fire will burn! We should respond as Peter said we should in 1 Peter 4:19: Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator. Can you make a video in regards to raising kids as a single parent. I really like this video commentary on Psalm 127. Every time a pastor gives a sermon or comments on raising godly children I can’t help to feel guilty because I’m a single parent.
There is no need to feel guilty! Sometimes moms have to be both father and mother. The Scriptures apply to both moms and dads. If there is no father in there house, God will give you the grace to follow through with His word, and His grace is sufficient. Just move forward with God's word, doing the best that you can. Perhaps your local church can help out a bit? Blessings as you do this most holy work of parenting!
the ESV uses the wording anxious toil in verse 2.I think its saying it is vain to be so anxious about life and life events,work etc that one rises early,goes to bed late;as so burdened by anxiety
just like America, God is not at the center anymore and we are starting to see this nation slowly crumble from the inside.
But the church of Jesus will stand. Jesus said that the gates of Hell would not prevail against it. Blessings!
