- Psalm 140 is a psalm of David, speaking of David crying out to God is a time of trouble. This trouble seems to be slander against him, perhaps when he was a fugitive escaping from Saul’s court.

My son is being tormented by others I pray this prayer for his protection.
That's right. There are several places on the Bible, where God tells us we don't need to fear Man. And 'Selah' is mentioned a lot as well. If God is for me, there is no need to fear Man.
