Stefan and I sat out to search for some edible fish whilst exploring new fishing grounds! after not being able to get some fish in the new grounds , we changed our strategy and fished some sand banks in the hope of finding job or also known as mulloway! luckily we found some nice working water in a very clear sea and caught some small a fair size mulloway.

Would be amazing if you could do a video walking through conditions like tides, swell size, sand bank structure for Kob, with maybe some examples thrown in if it’s not too much trouble?
I’ve watched a lot of your videos, and there is always some small piece of absolute gold tucked away in there, but would be amazing to have all the useful little tips in one spot.
I landed my first Mulloway 2 fridays ago (as of writing this), and I put it down to watching both yours and Duvans videos.
I’m in Australia, and the advice shared here is completely different from the advice you guys give. I was following that advice for a while, and just kept coming up empty handed.
The advice here is basically to fish a high tide change that occurs right at sunset, and look for the deepest deep gutter possible. Nothing is ever mentioned about sand bank structure, currents in the gutter etc.
Literally took one session to do something different based on yours and Duvan’s advice and I caught one.

Very rare to catch a Mulloway off the sand here on Australia’s east coat during winter.
Up the nrth coast it is possible and Beach worms are a gun bait.
The beach worms you guys would have there must be as thick as your thumb and 6 feet long 🍺
thanks man! we are lucky we can catch them the whole year you just have to work harder for them during the winter! we don't have much beach worms hey and when you get them they are actually small! we have bloodworms in estuaries that are quite big and are good bait!
