Good song. It isn't just the rich. The middle class are busy filling their garages and additional storage units with toys and other crap. When they see a homeless person, they justify their selfishness by claiming they can't give because the person will spend it on drugs. The poor often have a spending problem and mixed up priorities. No food, but a big screen TV and the latest iPhone, etc. Your song still applies. It just isn't that simple.
