Congrats on starting this new channel on animation! Looks like it's going to be interesting! I think Richard Williams might have worked on Roger Rabbit which was one of my favorite characters as a kid. I used to collect any magazines with Roger's picture on the cover even before I saw the actual movie.
Nice job, my friend! It’s nice to see how passionate you are about animation. I think it’s awesome that you’re taking the time to talk about and inform others about it, too. I’m sure you’ll be an inspiration for others! Keep up the good work! 😊
@@nickywilson5972 Yes, there’re plenty of animation books suitable for a beginner, such as Character Animation Crash Course by Eric Goldberg, Cartoon Animation by Preston Blair, and I believe Tony White’s new Animation Legacy books are also a good place to start, specifically “Walking the Walk” and “2D or Not 2D”.
Thank you so much for making this video! I've been wondering for more than ten years about what those DVD sets were like in real life, and it was great to actually see one! (You also helped me confirm that the cheap versions of this DVD set on eBay are probably bootlegs, since they look very different to one that you show.) I wonder if you'd ever consider doing a follow-up video with your thoughts about the course, and maybe show the box and cases in more detail? I'm also curious if you found it easier to learn with a book, an app, or a lecture.
wow. you have "Animator`s survival kit" DVD box set!! Can you show more this box, disks, and etc. More unboxing things) and interesting to see content on disks, (in disks only video-master classes? what resolution of videos? menu?)
The resolution is 4:3. The menu has the options to watch the full masterclass, the animated examples, etc. I would be willing to revisit this video to give a more in-depth look at things.

Richard Williams was the director of animation for the film, it was also one of the first films James Baxter worked on.
🤘🏻My brother is on 🔥 Let’s get it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
