If you are coming by train, you need to visit Fortkochi and Mattanchery. It is just 10KM drive from Ernakulam railway station. Around 40KM from the airport if you coming by flight. Fortkochi and Mattanchery are the 2 places that you don't want to miss out in Kerala. Lots of historical places like first Church in India, first synagogue in the commonwealth nations. the spice market in mattanchery, Historical buildings by the Dutch, Portuguese and British, Chinese fishing nets and many more. If you love monsoon season, June to November is the best time to enjoy the rainy season. Heavenly rains+ full of greenery everywhere+ black tea with a banana fry in a local tea shop inside the hill station = ultimate bliss is guaranteed. The official tourism season starts in October/November to the end of February.

Due to climate change( I guess), the monsoon season is delayed by few weeks in the last 5-10 years. If you are ok with some humidity, May is not a bad option. Because May is school and college vacation time in Kerala and in many other states, most of the places get crowded with group tourists. (school trip, college trip etc..).
I also want to go here, it is very beautiful, if I ever get a chance, I would definitely like to go, I love nature and hills very much. I am feeling very good after feeling this, I am feeling very happy.😊😊😊😊😊💞
