So wait, they include a new ESC with a 7.4v BEC that can only be adjusted with a BT module(not included) and also didn't include a servo that can handle the extra voltage?? Big side eyes for 530.00
Seriously, they put a servo that can't handle the ESC and for that price, no cooling fan on the motor or ESC, yeah no thank you. They really don't like taking care of their customers
Too fast for newbies, too slow for pro's, too weak for bashing, too almost too bulky for hardcore racing. just get a 6s typhon for fun and build something you'd wanna race.
530 and doesn’t even come with sway bars or adjustable turnbuckles? This is obviously overpriced even for a 1/8th scale. Unless they do what they did and add batteries and chargers like the max slash, no one should buy this unless they are content creators
The receiver is only rated for 6 volts. If you change the BEC voltage to 7.4 volts, you'll fry the stock receiver!!! If you want to run 7.4 volts you'll need to change BOTH the servo and the receiver/ radio combo. At that point, you might as well spring for all new electronics. Kinda dumb to make an ESC that has a BEC capable of 7.4 volts if the stock receiver and servo are not compatible with the higher voltage. Traxxas is REALLY out of touch these days. Not just on price, but on basic common sense.
I would never buy the Jato VXL at this price. You can get a 6s 1/8 buggy around the $500 price point. $499 for an Arrma 6s Typhon. $489 for Team Corally Spark B6. $419 for Arrma Typhon TLR Roller (add your own electronics). $349 for Team Corally Spark B6 Roller (add your own electronics). You can run these buggies on 4s or you can pick up a 4s Team Corally Syncro4 for $329. Earth to Traxxas-what planet are you on?
That price is ridiculous for that 530 that’s crazy
@@azbrown821 that's traxxas

Even the XMaxx doesn't get the metal gear servo.
Instant upgrade, like most RTRs.
Any way to swap hubs to run regular buggy tires or a way to truggyfy it😂
So they made a back slash lol
yep!
Expensive backslash smh , should have got a typhon 6s for that price
Is it lighter than the Arma Typhon?

💯
They don't have to care about their consumers, the fan boys and folks that don't know any better will slurp up their BS regardless.
