Your hat looks so cute with your curls flowing out!! I'm loving my tallow, original, and pumpkin spiced whipped. It doesn't just disappear into my face like most moisturizers do on me, feels so smooth! I even forced it onto my hubby's bald head!
You have such a short growing season, you should probably take up Danny's offer of planting space in the greenhouse. Whatever will extend your garden time! Have fun!!

Heather have you seen Clyde show his garden planner? I watch Off Grid With Doug and Stacy and he came to their house and showed and told all about his planner. I do not know how to leave a link for that video but it was good . He is a darling man. I am so excited because I'll get to meet him in May when I go to the Spring Festival in Vandalia MO. So excited!

Rhubarb jam is absolutely delicious! You don't need strawberry with it. I make it with my Rhubarb each year. It grows prolific in the right areas. Which is basically, sun, moist, and ignored. Lol
My Mom grows asparagus and she said it has to grow untouched for a year. You can harvest the second year, but if you do, you have to let it grow another year again. So basically if you harvest it, it's a biannual. Just a little advice from my old school Mom.

Lovely collection of goodies! That cap looks so cool on you! The rulers are a wonderful idea. I've just about given up on growing marigolds. The green grasshoppers always come and eat them. Sunflowers come in so many varieties but no matter one, always brightens the day. Looking forward to see your gardening journey 😊❤

Fun video! Super stuff! We have Mexican sunflower plants by our back porch. They are pretty but they do seem to spread. I try to keep up with them the best I can...lol

You are so adorable! I’m expecting my tallow tomorrow and can’t wait! My whole family suffers from eczema, I know I passed it onto my grand babies. We have tried everything from “natural” to prescriptions and nothing seems to help long term… fingers crossed tallow is our answer 😊
i got the pack with the marker .... it wasnt UV safe marker ... sun bleached the writing disappeared .... may be good to buy a sharpie that is the UV kind ... thats just what i did last year ... learned the hard way lol !!! hope you got my card in the p.o. box ! for some reason it takes soooooo long now for letter mail to and from canada and the US ! isnt it so exciting to get seeds started ... its so hard to keep waiting for snow to melt ( throw my head back and dirty look on my face) ... this is going to be our best garden year ever and i believe we will be harvesting so much and with mass abundance !!!

You can plant a squash outside of your garden as a trap crop for deers. They'll munch on it and keep away for your crops

That planting ruler is fun! I plant thick and thin out as they grow in my fancy three earth boxes. 😂 I'm growing red bells, two kinds of tomato, and jalapeño. You know when the marigolds dry up, those are next year's seeds. 🎉(I'm in Central Florida)
GAH! I didn't know that! So I can harvest my own seeds for next year! WOOHOO! thank youuuuuuu!

Another thing I did different this year with my seed starting is that I bought individual domes for the 4". I use those for crops that take longer to germinate pots
I did not know they made those!!!!! WHAT!!!!! I need a link! hahaha
It'll probably be hard for you but maybe you can get Danny or the kids to help you with it.... make soil blocks for crops that don't like being transplanted and take a long time to reach maturity.
For instance corn, watermelon, luffa carrots and sunflowers. I found it helps grow a strong root system, better and bigger healthier plants and I don't waste as many seeds

That's the root I went this year with my seedlings. Buy I used the square 4" pots cause they fit better and take less space

It is recommended to start your seedlings six weeks before your last frost date
yes, so I am holding back, no matter how much I want to start them now! I will start them mid April.

Once you grow the marigolds when flower die you can dead head them let them dry out and will have more seeds for next year .. I never buy marigolds anymore I just save the flower heads and get a ton of seeds

lol, my head is tiny and I always have a hard time finding hats that when I turn my head it stays where my head was or I bend over and it falls off even when they are sizes Adjustable. I Always end up in the children’s section with a kiddie hat :(

Do you think it’s rosacea? If so, an organic, nourishing rose cream and rosehip facial oil would help you. I believe Heather uses a rose balm that she mentioned.
QUESTION 🙋🏼♀️ 🙋🏼♀️ I have eczema on my lips that pops out from time to time. I just went through an awful spell. I have medicine prescribed by my dermatologist, but was wondering if The Balm would work on my lips??
