So, since the Western Railway Museum acquired the BART cars, I got a question for you: Is WRM making anymore new acquisitions or not at this time? If they are still accepting new acquisitions, there is something else in particular that I hope you'll consider preserving: Any retired subway train from the Boston, MA area. In my own opinion: It's nice that something does get preserved (and saved from being scrapped).
All those cars found a new use outside of BART, the rest were scrapped. Switchers would be neat but not needed - there are already diesel hirailers used to move cars including off of third rail, plus the cars would require maintenance. FOTF and legacy parts are for the most part, not interchangeable.

Why hasn’t Car 1203 been scrapped?
A company outside of BART plans on taking the car and converting it to something else
@@ATPTransit atleast it isn’t getting scrapped glad to hear 👍
6 A2 Cars were not scrapped I wish they would use them for switchers
