This song makes me want to just cry from the nostalgia. This song basically sums of ocarina of time so perfectly, the sadness, mysticalness, happiness, (even the goofyness in one part) it’s just so beautiful
You actually can. The game has an inherent theme of growing up and natural balance; even through adult dungeons, the woods still play this song- it's present throughout the entire game, when you talk to Saria, when you exchange masks, when you visit the Forest Temple, when you trade stuff to build the biggoron sword, when you celebrate at the end. It's truly the music of the forest and of Link's childhood memories. Just like Majora's theme is the music that defines MM, Saria's song defines OOT, even more than Zelda's lullaby, which is really surprising.
