      Basically copy science documentaries to rub off from them that rigor, precision, beauty, and rationality that religions don't have. The religious have realized that this is their last line of defense, and with this recognition, they're now obviously willing to go cult to go viral, spinning narratives over disjointed quotes that was never intended to support religion. You saw beauty. You saw sleaze. You saw propaganda.

Indeed the Trinity fits perfectly! The Trinity and all of life is woven together in love---the most powerful element in all of life. ❤🌻

    We are made to be in contact with our Creator. That is the 'listening' part spoken of in the sacred text. We meditate in the secret place and lay down everything before Him in the light of His all seeing presence. When we get to rest this way under His wing there is truly nothing like the light and there is no peace nor love that comes even close to the love of God. Then our cup is filled by His living mercy and we can go out into the world and share His blessings with others in a loving way.

    Order and openness. I love how these two are complements to one another. The Divine Logos is the source of Order while the Divine Spirit takes this order to another level of complexity. They are the two arms of the Father, working in love.
    I also love how this presentation leaves us with a valuable wisdom: "There be can be no order without openness and no openness without order."

    The real challenge traditional theism has-and it’s addressed nowhere in this series-is the discovery that the universe is _quantum mechanical._ Theology and cosmology; theology and evolution; theology and human cognition-but where is theology and quantum physics? If anyone knows of work being done in that area, please feel free to reply.

    So the Christian accepts evolution as a kind of divine act of love and some rational explanation of all that exists and is intertwined. I wonder if the evolutionist accepts creation as an act of divine, trinitarian love and there finds God? Think about that.

      @@marekbalog4286 Yes. I am a Catholic; raised a Catholic and attended Catholic schools. Genesis' creation story vs. science has always puzzled me. But as you say, it is a story that is an explanation of God being the creator. And without getting into a long discussion, how bout the rest of Genesis; Noah, Cain and Able, etc. Thanks for your reply and have a great day.

    You might feel the presence and acting of a god in nature but
    a) all the eaxamples given in the video can also be explained without regress to the supernatural.
    b) you can substitute "trinity" with any other deity without changing the argumentation (though it´s more a mood) of the video.
    And please allow me to correct one false wording: Murray Gell-Mann did not prophesize the omega-particle, he predicted it. Prophesies are worthless as they are mostly unsubstantiated. A prediction made by a scientific hypothesis on the other is a tool for testing the hypothesis.

    Love the images- but not seeing where concept/theory of “the big bang” fits in with Scripture as you so eloquently slipped into your narrative ie “380,000 years after the big bang “minute 6:35-6:45, for I’ve never observed an explosion(bang) create order precise, intelligent order, or continuity. However, God word informing us that He said and it was suffices greatly, for by faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (Genesis 1; Hebrews 11:3. )

      @@NightKnight347 We Catholics are panentheistic. Our sacramental worldview sees God in all, so we must do all we can to find full union with nature. You're in a youthful rebellious stage.
      You're just not educated or moral if you think the vast body of climate evidence is fake. Flora and fauna are literally shifting their habitat & every other explanation but human has been ruled out by research.

    • @NightKnight347
      @NightKnight347 Год назад

      @@mayaphilip4890 First, Laudato si is not under the umbrella of infallibility. Second, I do not have the time to recount years of climate study. People have very short memories. The NOAA and other organizations habitually play.with graphics and falsify data to push their agenda. Any scientist with half a brain knows how to play with numbers to show what they want. Ever wonder why all the graphs start in 1950 or 1970? It's because if you started the graph 100 years ago, it shows a 0.3 degree cooling trend. Extend it out further into history, and you recognize the earth's climate fluctuates regularly. We are currently due for another cold period and soon due for a mini ice age. If however, you ignore the 1920s (hottest decade on record) and 1934 (hottest year on record), eliminate data points in certain regions of the US and the Atlantic in 1947 and 48, you can come up with the heating trend that is frequently claimed. If you pull newpaper clippings for the last 160 years, you will find that the climate apocalypse regularly alternates between ice and desertification, depending on the going-ons of the current decade.
      This whole charade started because the UN declared a need of scientists to present on risks to the climate as a result of human activity in 1990. There was almost no science in 1990. But grants were distributed, the research questions biased, scientists delivered, media got politicians elected, more grants given to scientists, and you get the positive feedback loop of today.

      My recommendation is to abandon the pagan belief that mother earth is angry at us for sinning against her. Repent, trust in God, and live a holy life. Do not worry about carbon. Coral evolved when CO2 levels were about 15 times higher than today. They will not die because of your car. They will die because the chinese build airstrips on them, or because they underlie popular shipping routes and get all sorts of industrial waste dumped on them. Manage your waste like a civilized person and move on.
