Nice to see the w124 turbo getting some love
It’s been a long time coming, feel like a day and a lifetime all at once.. gonna be running very soon
@@AutoAfflicted awesome!
Just saw the listing on FB and had to follow. Insanely cool. Im SUBSCRIBED forsure! Not enough people turbo old benzes!!
Thank you 🙏🏼 it’s such a fun car now, total beastv
If it bites you again you could always AAN swap it. That would be pretty damn cool in a Benz. I secretly wanted to do that to my XR4Ti for a while now. ;-)
True! I should be good moving forward, new head gasket and lower compression should improve reliability
which m103 is it 2.6L or 2.8L ??
3.0L
Have you already replaced the head gasket? I know it’s a common issue even with the m102
Yes, this video is about doing exactly that
@@AutoAfflicted sorry I wasn’t clear, I meant have you already replaced it prior to this time ? And failed again?
@obaidaf9714 ah, I had not replaced the headgasket previously. It had become corroded while the car sat prior to my ownership -
when are you going to get a new hood pad?😂
Haha very funny, actually I have a pad that I need to make a stencil for and put a huge Mercedes-Benz logo on prior to installation.. thanks for the reminder, maybe I’ll do that this weekend
