Have had both cars and both are good fun. Still have an AW11 to this day. I really miss my old FC. Both cars are much more fun with a bit more power I will admit. I'd suggest getting a shifter bushing kit and a new shift knob. That'll freshen things up nicely.
What an American comment. Lack of horsepower is not the cause of the slow pace. These guys could have 800hp and not go any faster. That's true of most drivers, especially on a downhill touge. It's been proven elsewhere on RUclips that most people can't get away from a Hertz rental automatic Honda Fit in the hands of an experienced driver. They're going this speed because they're not experts, and they're not idiots. They're driving cleanly and within their skills, learning and having fun. Pushing past your limit in an AW11 to impress the internet is how you catch a case of The Dead.
These are the cheapest walkies you can find on Amazon, although I’d recommend something a little nicer if you have the budget. These walkies are only good at a pretty short range.
A couple reasons I do is because my elbows hit the seat cushion prematurely while turning and FC steering rack ratio is pretty bad so it’s easy to run out of steering for tight turns if you kept your hands only at 9/3 positions. It’s a pretty bad habit and I’m trying to train myself out of it, was actually wondering if anyone would notice :D.
