My black and white springers Zeke loves the water and would be in it 24/7 if you'd allow him' on the other hand my liver and white Monty avoids water at all cost 😁
That’s so odd! I’ve never owned a springer who didn’t love the water. My last one wasn’t crazy about it at first but my dad threw her in off the dock when she was pretty little. Once she saw other dogs loving the water she was brave enough to try again. After that I couldn’t keep her out of the water. They’re my favorite breed and I’ll probably always have one.
@@emilesalfai1538 the first one I had absolutely loved water'the second one I had he loved getting in the pond the Creek and stuff like that, but he would never come in the swimming pool with me ! The two I have now like I said one he loves water no matter what he's in the pond in the puddles and absolutely loves going in the swimming pool but the other one he don't mind the puddles he don't mind the pond so much but hates if you even try to get him to go in the swimming, and none of them like getting a bath 😬
STILL CRUELTY FOR THESE LOVELY KIND ANIMALS CUTTING THEIR TAILS!!????? AS IF THEY HAD A WHIP OF LABRADOR OR A DOBERMAN!!! MY SISTER IS KIND, SHE HAS A LABRADOR AND HE STILL HAS HIS TAIL INTACT!!! THEY NEED THEIR TAILS!!!!!!! It is one half of their spine!!!! Just immagine the pain...and the nerves
@@eddiem.5811 I was commenting on chopping springer`s tails off which is barbaric. Also, as A dog breder, mainly English working Springers, you need never,ever take them to a dog dentist? Feed them correctly. So explain why you chopped their tails off
@@jimwalsh8520 I don't know the story here, but I had to crop a few of my dogs tails because they tore the skin somewhere on them and wouldn't stop chewing on them, and they kept getting infections. I didn't want to do it, and I'd never do it without reason, but the experience left me with some sympathy for those that do. Similarly I had a pitbull with uncropped ears, her ears were constantly infected. I regularly used antifungal flushes, but I was left with some sympathy for people who crop their dogs ears.
@@jimwalsh8520 It's legal in the UK if performed for medical reasons, or if it's a working dog. I honestly didn't want it done, but it was strongly recommended to me by the vet.

Aw what a cutie. I had a Brittany Spaniel and they're pretty similar. Great dogs. Spaniels are some seriously cute and sweet breeds.

I remember reading somewhere years back about a litter of 8...3 died when their tails were cut... What pain those puppies must have felt its so sad.
