I truly miss this experience. It was such a unique way to interact with the game in a meaningful way. Sadly, I very rarely saw people play it, and I remember many I spoke to about it claiming it was too boring. And in modern times, I rarely even hear anyone speak about it, even the most avid Battlefield players I know. Also, this mode came out at a time when AAA games thought it was cool to have some kind of companion app, but now most of those are dead/been killed, so I doubt if will make a return anytime soon.
Tip: Press CTRL + A to connect all squads. If you use microphone and talk all members in the squad will hear you too. You can also give a specific order to the entire team.

It's incredible how strong the uav/emp is. If the other team doesn't have a commander your guys will win major flag clashes almost every time if you stay on top of it. Cruise missiles to take out camping AAs are just icing in the cake.
As someone relatively new to commander mode (yeah I'm late, lol), I find that there's not a lot of info out there on it. For instance, some sources say EMP only hides you from enemy commanders, but some say it prevents marking of your troops there??? Anyway, nice vid
@@ftwjoseph7660 Yes, but you need to estimate the impact point of the misslie. If the misslie goes into the radius of the EMP the misslie get damage until it is destroyed (sometimes the missile survived it). So you can out play the enemy comander.
2:56 If your team takes the "Gunship objective" while the enemy still has it deployed, the AC-130 will take damage, 5 hps every second. If someone happens to still be in it when it reaches 0, it will count as the commander's kill. :)
Also, use mic to better relay commands. Plus, resupply to enemy forces could hack supply to blow it up. Add bomb disarming class as well as hack class in real time.
Hey Oscar, probably not. I’ve dabbled in VU, but haven’t done much. Waiting for the BR to get finished then I’m excited to hop on. But the other Rev sounds great! Lol
They suspended the possibility of using the app they created to play as a commander on a cellphone or a tablet... but it's still possible to play as commander on PC or Consoles (if the server has the commander mode enabled ofc).
bf 6 needs commander mode back, needs classes back and not these loney toons characters from bf2042. we also need weapons and gadgets locket to the classes. snipers should not have m60 machine gun etch. we need a more serious warfare game, none of this tornado bullshit

I miss the bf4 commander app. I'd command from my tablet and watch the battlefield on my TV. Pretty cool experience.

This gamemode have a lot of potential to being improve
You literally made the team win.
It was actually a lot of fun! And it was really rewarding to get the W!
You can usually only see vehicles and blue or red arrows but in the battlefield, it is so chaotic.
I really hope they have this for tablets in the next Battlefield 🤞🤞

You can still load in as commander on any platform.
You should be able to join as commander when you look at the servers. I believe you can join in game as well in the menu's
