  • In this tutorial video I demonstrate the various ways to setup PWM using the patchbay of the Moog Mother 32. At first glance it seems that PWM options are not available on the patchbay but as you will learn from this video, its very much possible.

Bill Kang thanks. I’m using a mirror less camera. Very similar to a DSLR

Hi Rishabh, I really enjoyed your videos. I couldn't find much info about the other modes of the assignable output function, specifically 5,6 and 7 (sequencer step ramp, saw and triangle). When I patch them into the vco or any other input I only got a signal reduction (vco becomes an lfo). Do you know what are they supposed to be for and what is their use? Thanks, I hope you can give any advice, moog manual and google aren't any helpful.

That's what it is, an LFO synced to the sequence. It's probably most usefule with other modules. For instance, saw and triangle could be used to build arps.

is it possible to modulate pwm and freq at the same time?

Yes, set VCO mod to PWM like in the video. Then patch a cable from a modulation source into either 1v/o or lin fm.
