I’ve become a huge fan of Tim! I admire his honesty and vulnerability! It takes so much courage to lay your heart bare like he does! Thank you for sharing this film!
Tim, you are an amazing runner but more importantly an amazing person. Rod Farvard would not have gotten second place at Western States if not for you. You CAN do whatever your heart and mind sets out to do. Never forget!
A slip in an instant - ugh! Yet Tim goes on to display amazing fitness and self-belief. Ultra running is not for the faint of heart. Truly, truly Tim is a legend in this great sport and one of my heroes. Thank you for sharing this story of courage and tremendous grace.
I think you are amazing and I admire you. You are genuine, real and you are not afraid to share your trials as well as your triumphs. You encourage others by sharing. And you are an amazing athlete!!
All you can do is put in the work and hope it pays the right dividends on race day. I think (and I am nowhere near elite) the key is to already have another A race on the docket before you take on your current A race. That way, if that race doesn't pan out you can immediately take that training block forward and mentally start to prepare for to the next race. Treat it as a training run and just flow through it. Easier said than done I know but you have to be ready to move on quickly. It's such a fickle sport as we put so much time and energy towards a single day and if that day isn't "our day" then we have to pivot quickly. Well done. You got this Tim! Moving on:)
so inspired by Tim over the years, all the way back to Billy Yang's CCC/UTMB documentary w/ him Zach and David. really want to see you crack the code at UTMB, Tim!

You're an awesome human being from what I hear from you. This is more than a podium. Be healthy, be merry and keep showing up. You're a CHAMPION 🖖🏼

We believe in you Tim. You didn't let anyone down, because you laced them up and went out there. And having done just that, you won.
