We have one of those at my school out it's for fire Extinguishers 🧯 so if you remove the Extinguisher it goes off I think it's never happened before I don't think.

Could this alarm be tricked by placing any other magnet instead? Or it is kind of "smart" magnet detection? Thank you for your replies

The same I was thinking and wanted to ask, as I have a back fire door in the apartment block with the same alarm and want to use the door to load few thinks in my car, the tamper screw that holds the cover is easy to remove, just take the cover out and remove the battery, it should work.
