  • This is exactly how I cure my roe for chinook and coho salmon. Very easy yet effective. I had great success this year by this method.

      Yes! Me, brother, dad caught lots of doe springs. Won’t have any shortage for awhile

    do you put your cured roe into a freezer or just a regular refrigerator and how long would it last in there?

      During the season I put it in the fridge. Usually good for 1 month. If you plan to use it next season freezer forsure

    If you are just going to freeze it do you still put in borax before you freeze?

    when u cure roe is it meant so u can use it later is it necessary to cure ur eggs

      It’s because it stay on the hook well other wise you ll get one cast out of it. I’d say it’s necessary

      @@Go2fishingbc it may have just been me though. That other guy we were fishing with that evening used my roe and still caught fish. Forget his name though

    roe doesn't matter when you are flossing at fishermans corner.

      Flossing at the corner is great. I've limited out on coho there this whole week and I've gone 4 times

      @@Go2fishingbc you should try it. I sometimes do it at quiet runs as well if the fish dont want to bite. I find that it spooks the fish and then people not flossing don't get bites anymore, then more fish for me 😆
