Finally, A catch on bead! Vedder/Chilliwack River Salmon Fishing

Today we fish late Early October in the Vedder River, British Columbia in search for salmon. I had decent action drifting roe but everyone was hooking up on beads. Once I ran out of roe, I switched and finally hooked up on bead for the first time!

I asked my friend and he me says, It’s an older G loomis custom 10 foot 6. Says 1264 on it. Hope that helps!

beads are so overrated. i catch way more with wool.
You're probably right. Wool is a classic, but everyone seems to have hopped on the bead wagon.
You meant to say roe
And if you're catching more on wool than roe it's cuz wool gets caught in the fishes teeth easier with a 3 ft leader 🦷🦷
