The Watercraft Journal 5mph can smack and crack your neck. Don’t try and downplay it. This is a terrible video and I wouldn’t take what you say with a grain of salt.
If I understand the seadoo models correctly the wake pro is the same hull as the gtx but you get the additional pylon, tow settings and it comes in different colors. Am I right?

On another note we were on L. James 2 Sunday's ago, on my GTX 230 and my buddy's GTX 300 ltd, both new this year. Beautiful clear lake in the mountains.
Noticed the same thing when I watched this video, what a lame excuse, it looked close as shit and fast enough to really hurt someone.... Daring teenagers is right with you yahoos pulling them...
Gordon, we can assure you everyone was very safe and nobody got hurt. We passed the boat at less than 7mph so we could get a good close-up shot with the gaff pole.
So ... the retractable towing pole has a sticker right on top of it that says, do not use this for pulling tubes ... is this one of those labels that can be essentially ignored? I just don't want to pull a tube on it, and it snaps off or something like that and then I'm responsible for it ... how many times have you used the ski pole for a tube and have there been any negative effects? Since my 2020 wake pro 230 has another spot on the back, I used the lower tow area and couldn't keep the rope out of the water and was spraying the riders the whole time ... thanks again for this review, great work
Max Flight we literally were trying to launch him, and we were incredibly far from shore. That’s the point of towing a raft. (You can also hear him yelling “Faster!”)
You were dangerously close to other boats. Your rope was too long. I could go on. Not someone to teach proper towing technique. I towed pro ski teams forming pyramids, slalom skiers, wake boarders, and pro skiers jumping off ramps. Anybody knowing what they are doing does not need this feature.. programmed ramping of speed. It’s easy to throttle based on skier. And the same skier can need very different adjustments each time. This just makes bad skiers think their boat 🚣♂️ makes them a pro.
@@carterdoyle680 He was right, but his point was silly. 90% of skiers and drivers have no intention of going pro, they just want to have a good time on the water a few times a year. If some simple technology makes that easier, why would anyone discourage it?
So for something called "ski mode" the best test you could muster up was to pull some tubers? come on man. It can't be that hard to find a waterskier or a wakeboarder to test out how well it holds a speed for them and how it feels.
this might be the best and only video on this that i can find.
Damn you almost nailed those tubers off that boat!
Video didn't mention, DO NOT tow tube from Skipole, or show skipole in use, after setting it all up..
That is the very best.. I have been looking for information on how the ski mode works.. and you Sir... nailed it
Thanks bunches

Gorgeous place to be!
I bought a new Wake 155 and love it!!!
Should of bought one sooner.
Craig Walker great! Did we happen to help influence your decision?
Great explanation of ski mode! Thanks!
3:24 daring young girls... you are right about that... you almost smacked them into that boat!
It was our camera boat and we were going FAR slower than it looks on film.

Yes that's seems like it to me anyways
Love the test subject material. That was great.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Share with a friend!
Christ, you took those tubers WAY too close to that boat!! 👎
Edit: Happened at 3:25
LOL. Yeah, it was a little close but it was slower than it looks on camera.

i’ve tried to remove my ski pylon numerous times but i can never get it off. Do you have any tips for that?
The pylon is only removable on 2018-and-up Wake Pro models. The GTI-based Wake 155 is fixed until 2020.
The Watercraft Journal i have a 2019 wake pro but i still am not able to get it off
wait, it's a 3-person ski, but you have two on the ski and two on the tube, 4 total? Illegal?

No, definitely use the tow eye for tubes. Follow the OE instructions.

Can you tell something about the fuel consumption of the seadoo gtr and seadoo wake-pro? :)
