this is one of the things i worry about. looking at the SUV 17 for fishing sounds up here in Massachusetts and lakes, but worry if a chop would be too much for these skiffs
id highly suggest doing a sea trial in your area on one if possible. this cayenne handles chop pretty well, im sure the native would be similar. i think they have the same bow shape. heck the native might to better considering its not a tunnel hull.
yeah 30k loaded.. hull and motor rigged only on these are close to 16k if im not mistaken. its a killer boat if you want a nice technical poling skiff that has a tunnel hull 🤘
Boat is fine if you don't mind the fact that the hull is twisted from the mold. Look at your trim tabs and see that the starboard side is not level.

around 38 mph with a 60 i believe.

The Native cuts waves even better with it's nose shape but also it has a side slap so you must cut the wave properly
