This is a short video showing how to use both the scale and wind sides of the E6B flight computer to perform a time en route calculation.
E6B Color Flight Computer: www.asa2fly.com...
THIS THE BEST EASIEST VIDEO FOR UNDERSTANDING HOW TO USE FLIGHT COMPUTER, THANKS.
Great videos, you are, few of the ones that knows how to explain this matter properly!!!most of the CFIs they don't know how to explain it and they don't know what is methodology in addition !!! Congrats.
taking my written in 1 week! :)
Is there any formula used to figure out the Time from Distance an GS without using E6B ?
Thank you anyways for sharing those helpful lessons
Hello Karim,
Distance divided by Rate = Time
So, in this case 53 divided by 79.5 equals 0.666667
Multiply that by 60 (number of minutes in an hour)
0.666667 x 60 = 40
This 53 nm trip will take 40 minutes at a groundspeed of 79.5 kts
asa2fly I warmly thank you sir :D
thanks
THANKS LOTS! :)
it has been hard finding a video that actually guides through, and this is the best video i think anyone could use to learn this, thank you.....it helped me so much, this makes it so easy. thanks again.
This has made my day. Very concise and easy to understand. Thank you soo very much.
thank you so much i was looking for this kind of information for a long time
Sir im so confuse. Other videos marking theyre wind velocity below the 100kts. But you are marking above the 100kts. Which is right? Thanks.
leading_edge Thanks for you question. You don't have to start at 100, it's just a suggestion. The distances between the numbers on this scale are all the same. You can start at 50 if you like. 14 kts is 14 kts whether you start at 100 and count up or at 50. The end result is the same.
This helped me so much! Thank you! :D
Great explanation! Thanks!
Thanks a Lot !!
