We lived in this sweet little town 47 years. Sad everything has closed down since government shut it down..You missed the newer side. But it's a great place to grow up. At least when I was a kid. God bless
right, people who know us that live out of town ask if they can drop in. i tell them that they are always welcome. but i also tell them that there is nothing to see here in groves. it is a nice beautiful little town that is quiet. the only great thing is we have one of the best dairy queens in texas, fast good food. besides that setx is one long battleship row of refineries. = boring . even with that, i still love groves tx.
southeast texas is all about lakes and rivers and of course the gulf of mexico. texas is so big and has many places that are adequate to move to. piney woods of east tx all the way up to tyler tx. i would say to do your homework by just taking a drive to an area and look. to name just one spot would not be fair, texas is just too big. divide texas into areas and visit them. have fun.
The Golden Triangle is a polluted crap hole I would not move my children here. The cancer rates are multiple times higher than the national average, the air always stinks of chemicals, people are always sick from it. This is a dying area I would take my family anywhere else
Groves Tx native here. I've lived in Groves all 34 years of my life.
Can you do the Spring/Woodlands/Humble area??

Beautiful driving tour my friend!👍👍👍👍
Grew up there, good place and good people. Didn't know we had so many telephone poles till I saw the video, haha!
