- GIVING AWAY a helmet at 1k subs, and my Talaria Sting at 25k subs, so make sure to subscribe if you enjoy my content! It's going to be a good ride!
I had a blast exploring all over town on the Talaria. Whether you consider this an eBike, eMoto, electric dirt bike, or whatever else people are calling these-i definitely think these EVs have a bright future.
In this video I found some fun trails in the mountains where I was able to put the off-road performance of the Sting to the test. I also found the top speed right at 47mph riding on-road down state street.
The 60 Volt, 38ah battery mixed with the Talaria controller is a lot of fun right out of the box. I know the Sur-Ron vs Talaria convo is a hot topic in the eBike space right now. Hopefully, I'll be able to test it against the stock Surron X, Talaria Sting R, Super73, Surron Ultra Bee, Surron Light Bee, Segway eBike, and anything else out there on the market!
If you're looking to get a new eMoto, you will love the Talaria Sting.

Dude! We’d definitely be friends. Love your content. HMU if you ever want to come ride here in Utah. We’re building some awesome stuff rn
At first I thought this was a second account of yours, then realized you have different helmet and voices.
Love to see similar creators coming together❤❤
not plugging at all.
dude you live in ebike heaven, I can't believe that rhythm section is just there! Soo sick
It's honestly such a sick area! Love your vides dude.
@@HuntHansen Thanks man you too!!
Watching you ride those wide open singletracks made my mind slip back into dirtbiking mode in a weird way. Great video!
Man this is awesome when I found this I thought he was some big RUclipsr bro he is underrated keep up the good work I will be along for the ride man, ride safe
I appreciate the support! More coming soon.
This is epic dude this made me want one
W review im planning to order one for the summer also keep making videos
They’re a ton a fun! You won’t regret it. 🤙
I don't even have one of these (yet, after this video), but enjoyed the video and subbed. I'm glad you brought up the short service intervals for oil change, for people like me that might get one. I'd suggest trying to coat your tires in some lubricant too, for smoother ride. 🤣
Glad you enjoyed the content 🤙 I’d definitely recommend getting one. They’re a lot of fun!
I recommend 90w hypoid gear lube, for both smooth rolling and a nice, fresh, clean scent!
man this guy is a hidden gem.
Appreciate the love. Glad you enjoyed the content.
Aw Man, Talaria content, plus Donut shopping!
It's like the best of both World's combined!
Doesn’t get much better 😂
I just ordered a Sting R last week and just waiting around now. Loved the more real world test you showed in the video. I have a small KX100 dirtbike and I think the Sting R might just replace it!
You’re going to love it. They are a blast to ride.
I've actually been looking into a kx100 because they are so much cheaper than an electric bike. How are you liking it comparatively?
@@keldonator power rage is very similar. I would say the Talaria still has way more torque though. I can hit a 5ft tall jump with only 30 or 40 feet of run up from a stop where the KX I have to already be in second or third gear with high rpm’s to get that speed / power. Big jump’s definitely feel safer on the KX just because of the beefier suspension, but I’m more comfortable on the talaria because of how easy it is to throw it around. I’m selling my KX after having the talaria for a few weeks.
13th subscriber brotha cant wait to see u blow up keep doing what ur doin!
Thanks 🙏 More to come!
crazy quality of video bro, i thought it was surronster second account, but then i listen the voice and saw the helmet, Unfortunately no more videos..
Love the video, just bought exact bike only extra was the larger lcd screen.
Be careful tightening the clamps on the axle on your dnm forks. Alot of the dnm forks on the talarias will crack right there at the axke clamp. Possible defective or maybe the bikes just too heavy for these forks or maybe people are over tightening them.
Good to know. Thanks for the heads up!
These things are perfect for the local neighborhood trails as its quiet and you won't get the cops immediately called on you
Facts.
Great video and thanks for some of the info on the bike. Im thinking about getting one now. This bike looks fun and great for jumps and trails and yes riding around town too lol
You’ll love it! I’d say it’s totally worth it.
@@HuntHansenThanks. It looks like a ton of fun.
Great man
Loved it 🎉
just ordered one 2days ago you have the sting mx3 right? anyways that't what I got can't wait stoked!!!
Sur Ronster Vibes Subbed
Awesome video dude Keep up the work!
Hi man, how many miles would you say is too much for a talaria sting?
You bought a 2023 but didnt get the new R.... and its got dnm forks hopefully you got it for cheap. At keast they didnt sucker you with a rst killah fork version. Your dnm forks need air in them just so you know. 150psi max so fill to 160 cuz youll lose a little on release. I made a few videos when i first got this bike before really anyone else got one if you wanna check some out feel free
Yeah I got it from a friend's shop. I got a good deal on it so I wasn't too worried. I'll get my hands on an R eventually--or I'll just do upgrades on this and not worry about it. The suspension has felt pretty good, I have yet to bottom it out even hitting decent sized jumps--but it's not Fox 40. Most the guys around here hitting big jumps are running 40s. I'll put some air in for sure and see how it feels! I'll definitely check out your videos 🤘
@@HuntHansen fox40s even are kind of the fork of the past they're just not made for these havy of bikes and it instantly voids your warranty if you put it on these bikes plus the extra weight will mean the forks will need to be cared after more regularly to keep them working well. Lots of people prefer the new talaria factory fork or the new fastace fork they're much more robust and are designed specifically for these electric dirtbikes. The fastace version has parts available if ever needed and can be jazzed up by charged cycle works to perform better plus you have different spring options for it. That's what I use it's excellent. The next step up would be the ktm85 air forks everyone's starting to use its heavier but if you have aftermarket power its not a big deal gritshift makes parts to make the conversion work. Problem is that's expensive as hell. I think I'll stick with the fastcace for a while. I bought the talaria before it ever came out so I was a little bummed a year later when they came out with the R but it's only upgrades still the same bike really. I already run a bac8000 controller and bypassed battery Does 8kw should get a 72v in a few months then I can run upto 15kw any higher and I'll need a better motor. Really if I put some 220mm brake rotors on my bike im good that's all the R has I don't really at the end of the day it's not a big deal I can build my own bike how I want to.
@@MotoAlias Oh Nice! I'll have to look into those fork upgrades. I was wondering how a 40 would impact the warranty. I have some friends who ride MTB/BMX bikes professionally and they all run the fox 40 on their Surrons--they say it totally changes the way it feels on big jumps. I'm sure these other forks you mentioned would be even better. Where you located? Charged Cycle Works is pretty close to me, but I haven't made it to their shop yet.
@@HuntHansen I'm in florida. The takaria is a little heavier than the surron and by the time people upgrade their bikes battery and everything even the surron becomes to heavy for the bike forks. People have been straying away from the bike parts on these bikes and opting for more durable stuff built specifically for these bikes or for mx bikes.
Best part of the video is the mini me cameo interview @ 4:32 - 4:42. DONUTS!!!!
Agreed!
You’re in Utah County i can tell because i be on that same trail 😂
Nice bike. Nice scenery.
Thank you! It’s a fun place to ride
Where is this town/city at?? That neighborhood looks 10/10
Sick video bro 🤙keep at it
Thank you 🙏
Awesome review man love the views 🤙 Talaria Sting is so much fun what kind of phone mount your using?
Thanks for the love! It's a Peak designs bike mount. You need the peak designs phone case with it. It's honestly great.
Hey I got the same forks I was wondering if you could make a video about adjusting the suspension because I don’t really know how to do that and what I should set it to.
Yeah! Good idea. Stay tuned.
I’ve been doing so much research on getting one these, so far this model has looked best especially for what I am looking for. I just had one question if it came with a governor to limit it? But Im 90% sold on this being a great way to get to work and have fun on my off days
i really like your video and i think you should uplode more talaria videos i really think you can get big on youtube 🥰🥰
Thank! I really appreciate you watching and commenting. More videos to come. I’ll be trying to post most Saturday mornings.
Sick bro l like the review bro 😎💯 subbed!
Thanks for watching!
w video
Can I get the link for phone mount?
www.peakdesign.com/collections/mobile/products/out-front-bike-mount
You’ll also need the peak design phone case to go with it. Definitely worth it
If that’s a motorcycle trail, that’s cool. But if that’s a MTB trail , those guys will fight you.
Haha yes.. they definitely hate these things 😂 I’ve been riding MTBs my entire life.. that crowd can be very update for sure
If you cut the cord do you mess with the warranty?
How are the off road tires on the roads?
The killer question is where do you freaking park it in public without it getting jacked
I ride it to work and bring it inside hahaha i'm not risking anything.
@@HuntHansen For sure or it would be a free lunch all day long🤣
Why did you not get the sting R with the IPM motor?
The shops around me didn't have them in stock. Hopefully i'll get my hands on one soon!
*WE NEED MEET UP WITH SUR RONSTER VOLTA YOU TOO SUR*
Vende dela no Brasil
How can I get one of these?
Ask around your local Moto shops. They’ll probably know who the dealers are in your area! You can also check out ampedbikes.com
that cant be the r? my tilaria sting r gets to 48 way faster
its a bit like the 50cc tow strokes , off course they have thier differences ,but it kinda rmindes me o that
For sure! People who upgrade the battery and controller say it pretty much turns it into a 125cc two stroke.. but is silent
You sound like Dillon Thomson!
Whats that bike the little kid is riding called?
Staycyc
@@HuntHansen Thanks!
Man I would love one! What’s the price
mx3 is $4k.
Flying past people walking on a designated walking path, don't be surprised when they come down on everyone for your shit. It's the reason they don't allow anything past class 1 around here.
Is this the 3 or the 4?
MX3
We’re can I buy one of these ?
I bought mine at a local moto shop! Call around to a couple shops and I bet you'll find someone who sells them. Talaria and Surron are the two main brands right now.
what helmet is that?
Leatt MTB 8.0
Where i can buy that?
ampedbikes.com
Qual o preço dessa bike? Pois eu queria comprar e trazer para o Brasil
This bike is $4k usd

@@HuntHansen Yeah that’s what it stands for.
Hoq much cost ebike

How do you unlock top speed ?
You can either snip a wire or unlock through a button series. I’ll try and make a vid and link it here!
@@HuntHansen does the button mode work to unlock it ?
?
@@PcLifeNova It worked for me! Have you tried it?
@@HuntHansen I haven’t yet I’m waiting to get my bike just wanted to make sure it works for people so I know for myself
Please tell the price💲💲💲💲
I believe the Talaria Sting Mx3 is selling for $4k rn.
You sound just like sur ronster
You remind me so much of @SurRonster
I'll be switching things up and trying different styles the more content I make. Hopefully I'll find a groove that works for me. Follow along if you enjoy the content 🤙
This is the clearest surronster copycat I've ever seen 😂
Definitely pulled inspo for this first video. Will be switching things up and finding my own groove the more content I make 🤙
@@HuntHansen that's a good attitude bro, good luck 👍
Bro who tf is this guy Surronster ass copy cap talks like him even i swear this the same guy🤣
Had to start somewhere. Definitely pulled inspo from SurRonster. Check out my newer vids. I’ve been changing up my content style each video.
Don’t try to wear a helmet and be like Sur Ronster. You’re just starting out. Be original and don’t hide behind a helmet.
Planning on doing both helmet on and off! Thanks for the input 🤙 Hopefully will find a groove that works for me as I make more content.
Why is your first judgement comparing him to Surronster? Maybe he doesn’t want his face shown. Not everyone who makes e-bike vids and wears a helmet isn’t trying to “be like surronster” maybe mind ur own business and don’t tell him how to run his own channel.
Don’t listen to him. Banger video
the reasons I back off form e motoros compared to gas driven mopeds from before 2000...
* You do not get any real range, a classic moped get you 124 miles of range !
* is not as comfortable as a real old moped with leather seat
*spare parts are harder to find, the classics is everywhere in any mechanic store
' the time to charge compared ot fill up the tank is a deal breaker, it takes one min to fill up a gas tank
* no benefits of better parking for being electing than a normal moped, the parking is equally expensive , so you are not getting the benefit of buying an "environmentally friendly" vehicle, the government could have supported you with this everywhere in the world for chasing an electric engine when parking, is hell of expensive! is 11 dollars a day where I live...
* the insurance cost up to 8 times more than an old gas driven 2 stroke moped depending on insurance company and how old your classic moped is.
* the cost of a classic can be 800-1800 dollars while the xXx here is 4130 dollars and the Sting R is 5785 dollars....
You can buy a real motorbike for that money, like a Husqvarna 701 or 401 and their insurance is down at 22-40 dollars a month.. last insurance company I talked with tonight wanted to have 180 dollars a month for the Talaria 2022!!!
whooohaaa...
You save so much more on an old classic veteran moped, and they can be equally fast, just heavier but also more comfortable!
You choose, is your money.... just stating the facts after doing a lot of research and talking with people.. and now the Winter is coming here, how well will an electric moped vs a classic gas driven moped run in the cold snow?!
You tell me...
I am just stating the facts...
...I do not know if my choices are right,
but I think I save all money and get a real motorcycle in a year instead !
😂
