you got a little relaxed at the beginning of this one! you know its Ren...you know he us going to take a aledge hammer to the feels sooner or later! its amazing how ~ no matter how dark the subject matter ~ he can make it sonically pleasing and leave us in a place that feels safe by the end of the song. Rens music has never veen simple. the quality has allways been there....what he has mastered more than any ither artist (IMO) is the emotions he evokes in the listener. that young man has gotten me in the feels so many times! and i love him for that....he has an understanding if emotion on many different levels. using his voice, using discordant chords? not sure how to get my meaning across on that one,😃 i hope he gets better. wasnt expecting him to have to return to canada so quickly. im really hoping to see hiw his talent matures with age. not many hold my attention like he does. lots of love to you & mom! stay safe from the hurricanes and TORNADOES!
