Decide on the stream based on your interest. Check biomedical syllabus and see if you would like it.
GATE kandipa clear panalam.. But for PSUs, core branches are preferred generally.

"Candidates who are currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or who have completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2024"
This is the eligibility criteria mentioned in GATE website. Please do check yourself in gate2024.iisc.ac.in/

You are eligible to apply with any GATE qualified mark. You can attend the interview. As there will be competition to get into PSUs, it's better if you aim for 65 to 70 marks.
