I feel like this is the only channel playing Sisters well, and I have to imagine that's because Bricky actually likes them and therefore knows how to operate them.

Agreed. I’ve been loving sisters in 10th, and nearly every batrep I’ve seen is filled with tons of complaining and has made them look like hot garbage. Most of the big battle report channels either don’t have someone skilled enough with sisters or they don’t have the models to field a semi-competitive list. Sisters are a tough faction to play and a lot of games are an uphill battle, but I think we’ve got some serious potential

This was awesome. It really sucked watching Sisters and Tau plummet in win % in 10th ed. Watching 2 players just having fun reminded why I play and paint.
10th gets a bad wrap beacuae of a few factions but if you just don't know any eldar, knight or gsc players a lot of armies are still fun. Tau seem decently internally balanced and fun they just can't play against eldar or gsc.
@@punkhippe Unfortunately, theres not a lot of armies that can handle GSC, Knights, or Eldar.

Yoooo! They removed the stains from the curtain slats! I'm so hyped, cause it was super distracting for me, as it always looked like a stain on my monitor!
I'm always very excited to see the battle reports, and Bricky's happy puppy face! Love the vibes, and they addressed the only issue I've had, which was admittedly a minor one, in the grand scheme of things, but it makes it all the sweeter!

I’m relatively new to 40K and I’m working on my first army which is Tau. I did notice some things during the game and I absolutely could be wrong on the rules or what I saw.
At the end of one of the tau turns he made Longstrike strike and fade, I believe that’s only limited to battle suits and they have to have “fly” so even broadsides can’t do it.
At 44 min longstrike split fire, it should have hit on 5+ with the burst cannon not 4+ because of how FTGG works.
I know this is a new setup, but can we get the zoom fixed on the overhead so we see the entire table? Also, can we get the perspective of the front camera and the overhead to be the same, so the 'left' side of the table is the same from both angles? For just being a bunch of guys playing games, the old setup really did have a high quality on the production side it would be nice to get back to.

Man, love to see Bricky playing sisters. As an army in 10th we aren't very good, bad rules plus a need for expensive models to do well. Something that I've found the biggest issue with is how much more I need to buy to field a playable army as opposed to 9th

While shooting you need to check each models in the unit and see who have eye contact with enemy unit. You CANT shoot with everybody in the unit if only the first one model is the one who see the enemy....
I believe Strike and Fade is Battlesuit only. I don't think Longstrike can use that stratagem.

I believe Candlestick is 9th edition. It doesn’t exist the same way any more
You have to use the Ghostkheel drones before you roll your wound save, that is defined in the core rules from allocating attacks.
Ghostkeel drones are not models. They are wargear. They reduce the damage of an attack to zero. Not allocating an attack.
@@reihkangul7288 That is not what Coltb was saying? He was just saying that you need to decide to use the drones or not at the time of the attack being allocated.
Ex: "Deadnaught A" shoots "Ghostkeel B" with a 1W gun. So, before any rolls are made, the owner of "B" chooses to not use one of the Ghostkeel's drones. "A" then shoots "B" with a d6W gun, so "B" chooses to use its drone to negate the damage from that gun.
Attacks are only allocated after successful hit and wound rolls, so no you are incorrect. The ghostkeel can use it's drone ability after being hit and wounded.
Oh boy, can't wait to watch this with literally 0 idea what any of this means outside of general lore knowledge

You are right, you also have to be below starting strength. so both restrictions mean he cant use it on the seraphim+celestine.
Should’ve taken the saves on Geminae first before the seraphim to get the 2+ armour save and they’re 2 wounds each
You cant take wounds on characters before the bodyguard unit is dead.
@@Torguemada I know this is a very late reply but the geminae superia do not have the character keyword, so you can take saves on them first
I know this is probably asking a lot, but I feel like this cast would have been a lot better with a handheld camera to get in closer and get more angles on the board. Half the time I really struggled to tell what was happening in the game.

I got a boatload of sisters just for the hobbying/kit bashing potential, so I've been interested to see if they're actually viable in the game. The stats aren't great, but maybe y'all can prove them wrong
If Aeldari/knights catch a nerf the entire balance rate changes. Sisters are just heavy on the playstyle of sacrificing units for their army rule. This should be as strong as the aeldari army rule except farseers turn their dice into 6s even for the vehicles so it didn’t matter what they rolled. The dialogus has a similar ability for sisters but she can only apply it to dice used on her unit.
@@giantninja9173 The other thing I've noticed to be an incredibly effective difference between Fate Dice and Miracle Dice is that Eldar get to frontload all their Fate Dice from the start, whereas Sisters generate their Miracle Dice as they go. This gives the Eldar way better chances to come out swinging with an alpha strike, which is an advantage over every other army. Turn 1 might not seal the game, but it absolutely sets the tone.
Multi-melta on a mortifier ??? If thats a thing its news to me they have heavy bolters sure but im pretty sure the datacard is mortifier flamers or heavy bolters only.

Seeing this video is 1.5 hours long, makes me wonder how long they actually spent playing. Me and my buddy play our matches in TTS, and they usually take 4-5 hours. I know our times are bloated due to running different lists constantly (praise be TTS models), but it makes me wonder if we're just slow.

Personally I appreciate when they show the board more. I don't watch a lot of the reports because I don't know where the units are in relation to each other and I don't know what is going on. If switching back to an overhead shot whenever a roll is made for shooting is too much editing, I would prefer to just have the camera stay focused on the units instead of watching Bricky and Dameki read off of their references while I don't know what is happening.

Cool battle report but one thing you can’t discard secondary objectives at the start of your turn, can only do it with a strat which is also once per a game. You can discard at the end of your turn for a CP as many times as you like tho but not at the beginning
The special mission rule for this game is to draw 3 and discard 1 at the start of every turn.

lol something to note here for Dameki Kayuon is Sustain Hits 2, so every explosion is 2 additional dice not 1. Lots of shots that were not included for quite a bit of this.
It’s only sustained hits 2 if you are guided

Very early into the video, but why did Dameki get primary points from battle round 1?? Dont all primary missions only start scoring in Round 2 through 5, and nothing in BR 1 (regardless if its objectives or killing stuff). It should be on the cards themselves 'in the second, third, and fourth battle rounds' and then 'in the fifth battle round' for any additional final round scoring info?
The mission is purge the foe. The twist to this mission is every battle round including the first grants victory points for killing the enemy.
Is it just me or bricky forgot the sisters have bolt pistol too ?

You don't need to declare all your guides. You do it one at a time. Because you have no idea what units will be left. Or where they will be.
You also discarded a secondary turn 1 that states you can redraw it anyway as it can't be scored turn 1.

In all fairness, thanks to Farsight. The Tau Empire has been really quiet. Maybe it is due to the fact, Farsight is far more interesting fish dude, than a bunch of mind controlling wannabe Mindflayers, aka, Ethereal. And I know they don't look it. But maybe that is just a disguise? *shrug* Never discount it with GW's ability to be "creative".
Sorry couldn't bring myself to watch it to the end... so many rule mistakes from the Tau player just hurt. Why showcase 40k if you're wrong on the rules? I understand if you're not Shure of the rules and have to double check, but there was just pure ignorance on the rules and no checking...
It sounds like you in fact don't understand. Mistakes happen, if that's a problem for you then 40k probably isn't for you my guy.

They showcase the game and mistakes, no half assed approaches - like these make it harder for new players to get rules right. I just expect more from ppl that put stuff on YT then the regular Joe.
