I'm from Jersey too, you know here in the States you can hire a Certified Home Health Aide, preferably one who has had facility experience & Medicare will help pay for it....I know what you're going through and you don't have to go it alone. Stay healthy and in shape, maybe you too can take a vacation and stay in a lovely cottage like the one featured here today!
You do have your hands full and they are very blessed to have family that can still look after them. What a lovely person you are. Blessings in your days and may you some day be able to enjoy a sweet cottage like this. 🧡
Oh thank you all......we do have 24 hr care for my folks who still live at home in Bergen county but as you know its very expensive and my dad has Alzheimer's and my aunt whose 100 lives in a very nice assisted living but there's a ton of work and non stop dr appts so we don't sit home and mope. This is my first time writing a comment and it was very pleasant. TY!

Such a beautiful cottage. It looks quite old from the stonework, and I love the Gothic style windows. I like the colors, the artwork (especially the florals and botanicals), and the grounds are so lovely. I could see living there with a couple dogs, a cat, and two horses in the storage building! I love stone cottages. You take us to the most wonderful places, it's difficult to have a favorite. They are all gorgeous! In this one I particularly love the windows, the wall color, the floors, that gorgeous brass bed and the very sweet Welsh dresser, the fire place.... well just about everything! Loved the outside of the cottage. I personally like more dramatic colors and textures for inside decor. I also am a big fan of four poster and canopy beds. Would have loved to have seen it a bit more historical decorated.

Thanks so much, glad you like it! The filming is always done by the two of us. I always film the entire cottage tours including the parts with the details and music and when we’re outside we film with 2 cameras.

I would like to mimic the tile in the kitchen...just a few woodland creatures inserted into a neutral tile background. You had a past video where homeowner did this also. Such a beautiful cottage. It looks quite old from the stonework, and I love the Gothic style windows. I like the colors, the artwork (especially the florals and botanicals), and the grounds are so lovely. I could see living there with a couple dogs, a cat, and two horses in the storage building! Im quite ready to move in! I do hope I can visit Great Britain someday. Cornwall, Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury, Wales, Scotland, Ions, Hebrides. Looks like I need to move there! I love stone cottages. You take us to the most wonderful places, it's difficult to have a favorite. They are all gorgeous! In this one I particularly love the windows, the wall color, the floors, that gorgeous brass bed and the very sweet Welsh dresser, the fire place.... well just about everything! The English seem to be renown for their love of color, pattern, fabrics.....I have come to cherish their mastery of this art, and look forward to studying and learning from their culture and style. This was a beautiful cottage to be invited in to tour. But, I really did miss the exuberance of fabrics, wallpaper and patterns. 😊 The english style is rubbing off on me, I do believe. Needless to say, it was still a lovely cottage. 🥰

It was always our plan to travel throughout England in our retirement whee the children were settled. Unfortunately our health has deteriorated after covid and affected our lungs. We are virtually housebound at age 65 and 58. Your videos show us all the places we would love to see in person.❤

I’m sure we all want to replicate the timeless beauty of this cottage in our own homes. The British have a way with paint colour, as well as, fabric and wallpaper patterns!

Loved the outside of the cottage. I personally like more dramatic colors and textures for inside decor. I also am a big fan of four poster and canopy beds. Would have loved to have seen it a bit more historical decorated.

The sea artwork on the wall behind your bed is by Alfred Wallis, a Cornish uneducated fisherman who took up painting at 70 and was championed by the art crowd. There are others in the cottage as well.
