With aquaphor, as directed by my niece(who is a dermatologist) put your moisturizer on face and neck before bed, put the aquaphor wherever you have lines and wrinkles. It keeps the moisturizer from drying out and protects your skin so when you wake up it’s SUPER hydrated which is what you need for smooth skin 👍
Highly recommend Neutrogena ultra sheer body mist broad spectrum 70. Non greasy ✅ Easy/fast application ✅ No fragrance ✅ Not sticky ✅ Goddess Glow✅✅✅ That's my go to. I bought 3 cans before mentioning it, just in case. Lol😅
I'm 62 and don't have many wrinkles on my cheeks, forehead, etc., ... yet. Where my age is truly starting to show is under my eyes and the laugh lines. The issue for me is caking foundation and/or concealer, (depending on the day), in the lines that occur when I smile and my cheeks push up. Those burgeoning wrinkles are crinkly when in motion and then leave an icky roadmap of concealer to point out exactly what my laugh lines are doing, even when I'm not laughing. I absolutely love the Aquaphor hack! (Expectations are key, here. My wrinkles aren't gone or hidden with this hack, this doesn't work like a spackle, but my make-up sits on top of it and doesn't settle in, thus helping to blur a bit. It's not a miracle, it's just a helping hand for your make-up to do its job better.) After experimenting with it, I found that what works best for me is to run my finger across the top of the tube and press the Aquafor in with my fingers. I let my body heat melt it a bit before applying, and then press it in, and then let it set before putting anything over it. I then tap on foundation and concealer with a sponge so I don't disturb anything or smear it around. If I can go without setting powder in that area, I do, but find my mascara smudges into the Aquaphor if it's even a tiny bit warm. If I'm shiny and need a little help, I take the smallest amount of loose powder that will be effective and carefully press that on top of the make-up with a flat cloth powder puff. Lastly, I carefully and lightly brush away any excess powder and just use my fingers to go back and pat-pat-pat to blend, if I need to. That sounds like a lot, but I'm just trying to be very descriptive. I am really happy with the outcome! Key factors here are probably 62 year old skin, the expectations I have, and the little, "press, pat and tap" routine I use. ;)
Thank you for sharing! I’m 43 and learning new hacks for my smile lines under my eyes…..I like to smile a lot so the little lines are starting to make an appearance along with the smile. 😊 Especially with makeup
Swimsuit care! For the love of all that is sparkly don't put your suit in the dryer. I have come across SO MANY PEOPLE (I work at a pool) who do this and it's like... they're basically made out of elastics... the dryer, yanno, dries that out... they break... they stretch... Hand wash in cool, clean, water and then hang dry. Bonus points if you use swim suit soap. I run my cheap suit through the wash with it in a bra bag and it's surviving, but, again, it's my cheap one.
@@krisb5695 It's something that removes chlorine better than regular soap, especially when it comes to the smell and the fading. Popflex has some super cute bathing suits with different booty cuts and you can pick the cup size in addition to normal sizes! Would love to see you try!!
I've gotta breakdown and but a good suit. I'm a 34DDD and I've been suffering thru non bra size tops since I was 12- I'm 35. I've had a few bra sized tops, if I can find my size, but they are never under $40-$50, I even paid $90 for one that only last 2 summers(rinsed after taking iff to get chlorine/salt water off, washed it with swimsuit soap, hung to dry out of direct sunlight and NEVER put it in the dryer). Ugh.
I don't know the bathsuits quality to compare accurately, BUT, I have a similar strap tie suit top from Old Navy and I've never had issues with it coming undone or stretching. I've had it for a year and it was my primary suit for the season, so I wore it a lot.
Love watching! Can you please mention the size range when you review clothes? Just so us plus size girlie don't bother hunting it down if they don't carry a good size range! Thanks!!
I tried out the Aquaphor trick and it really does work. I recommend not using a heavy full coverage powder foundation over it. Just use your regular setting powder. I tried both and the heavy powder made it look awful. Loose powder worked beautifully!
Seriously, swimsuit makers, I just want my ass covered. Pretty please? Just... that's all I want. I've moved to retro-style suits with skirts because I was so over it. lol
Thank you for giving Scott Barnes the credit for that undereye hack. I have seen too many people trying that and not mentioning him as if the idea were theirs. It sort of reminds of that other weird hack with a hemorroid cream. I don't even remember what that was for. LOL. These videos are so interesting because there is so much crap being sold suckering people in wasting their money especially health items. Now that makes me mad like some stupid oil is going to cure neuropathy in someone's feet. NOT. You are doing a great service to some people.
I bought my daughter the reversible bathing suit (green version) last year. She loves it. It was (and still is) her favorite bathing suit. We love the reversibility of it. She has worn it to water parks and pools. I normally tie the suit criss-cross on her back and double knot it. We haven't had issues with it untying unless she is messing with it.

@sunsets1013 short answer is no I wouldn't recommend every night. I just don't think skin really needs that. Also what skincare you're putting underneath matters. Exfoliating a couple times a week helps keep milia away in general. Some people get away with a lot of skin crimes and are fine however in people who overdo occlusive or very heavy products I do see issues. Wait! Isn’t aquifor the lip balm that was having some kind of reaction in sun and making peoples lips blow up last summer… or maybe the summer before? I don’t know if you should be putting that all over. I might have the wrong brand. Does anyone else remember that?
i dont usually comment but rachel, let me just say that you look so radiant in that green shirt you're wearing. my gosh. it brings out your eyes beautifully as well! that is definitely your colour.
I've always been curious of that bathing suit! But it is a copy of a very expensive brand. Which unfortunately happens. But I never ordered the Amazon version because I had mixed feelings about it being a copy of the original creator
Hello! I have been watching both of your channels for a while now but my first time chatting in :) I'm not sure if you would be interested in doing a comparison video but the suit that you got is actually a dupe for Visual Mood's suite. There is a big price difference and I'm curious if the quality is the same. I have had my eye on it for years!
Hi Rachel if you read this i was wondering if you can recommend a good SPF the apply over make up during the day... Spray ? Powder ? Doesn't matter... I love your videos and how well you test products and give honest reviews ❤ thanks for testing all of this for us 😊
I just bought the same swimsuit!!! Crazy coincidence! I agree on all your notes. I really like the fabric used also, feels very not-cheap, haha. Surely the point of beading is that you take your time placing the beads the way you want them. If you don't want to do that, then don't! Machine is ridiculous.
The bead machine! 😂 I have a feeling the "beaders" of the world would hate this! Unless you enjoy making random ,messy patterns!? 🤷🏼♀️
I think it would be better geared towards kids with dexterity issues or struggling with fine motor skills
I actually have a slightly different variation of the beader. Since I'm partially paralyzed, it comes in very handy for stringing tiny beads. But you're right, it means I must be okay with random patterning. Which I am when I utilize the beader. 😂
I AM SO WITH YOU ON THE SWIMSUIT COVERAGE BOTTOMS!! Can we please just get a normal bottom?! 😫
I feel the same about swimsuits. I love high waisted and full coverage bottoms! I’m 28 and I also don’t want my cheeks out 😂
The beads jumping out like salmon comment made me lol 😂
The bead machine is a stupid idea. Most people who bead have a pattern in mind, not a random mishmash. Looks more of a hassle than it’s worth
Oh no, these are very popular in the hobby. They normally just not normally upright or automatic.

I haven’t seen any good reviews on that Kosas BB cream at all. All the ppl I’ve seen try that didn’t like it at least on YT❤
Hahaha, ticket to the gun show. 😂😂😂
Mindy McKnight has the bathing suit and showed it on IG while she was in the pool! I think it would be great to swim in!
The bead spinner might be faster at putting the beads on the thread, but imagine it’s gonna take 10 times the amount of time to sort those back into their specified compartments in your big container
I just found you… you are so funny. Can’t wait to watch more!
Beader of the world here:
That was really fun to watch. … trash that thing.
I love your videos and personality, so fun! :)
2:31 I couldn't get into the BB Burst foundation due to the scent
I like the earrings. ❤
Where did you get them?
What was the product that didn't come in time?
That swim suit is soooooo cute it would look good with shorts or jeans as well.
When you said "no notes" I heard it in my head in Schmidts voice 😂
always
NO NOTES?? NO NOTES????!!!!! NONOTESNONOTEANONOTES
It’s because you got weird beads
Where is your shirt from!?
Wait! Isn’t aquifor the lip balm that was having some kind of reaction in sun and making peoples lips blow up last summer… or maybe the summer before? I don’t know if you should be putting that all over. I might have the wrong brand. Does anyone else remember that?
That bathing suit is now $120
Cannot stand the sol de Janero sunscreen. Smells horrible. I had to immediately wash it off. It made me sick to my stomach.
I just realized you are the same age as my son. I feel very old now 😄
She’s a few years older than my daughter, so I suspect we’re around the same age.
Has she tested a walking pad?
Probably not very original ^^ but call it a Gem Session
i dont usually comment but rachel, let me just say that you look so radiant in that green shirt you're wearing. my gosh. it brings out your eyes beautifully as well! that is definitely your colour.
Best sunscreen - ISDIN! Not kidding - the best and amazing under makeup.
Love the swim suit on you.
Had the same thought about how secure those straps were. Tying them myself while wearing was tricky but I'll probably keep it because, well, you were right - she cute! If you find a good coordinating cover-up, please share! ❤️❤️ (PS, I've been watching for a long time but probably haven't commented much. Hi. Love your videos!)
hey, i realy do not try to be rude in any way but in the past you told us in one video that you hate the thing that people do with showing products and use the fingernails sound, you do this yourself in all your videos. i hate this sound a lot and i know a lot of people hate that sound so i am curious why you do it. btw, i love your videos a lot an again, i realy do not try to be rude.
honestly, I can't actually watch the video due to this, or i put it on mute with subtitles but that's no fun 😅
I know it’s with everything lately!! 😮😮
I am also not trying to be rude, but I really don't like the ASMR nail noise either.
Totally agree that sound is awful! Makes so many videos completely unwatchable for me.
I think Rachel isn't editing her own videos anymore. She handed it off to someone else, and maybe the editor is just using what other RUclipsrs use.
Rachel is a 11 out of 10.
It’s rather pricey, but I was watching someone try on Lilysilk’s cashmere lounge suits (particularly the Toffee coloured one) and thought how much they would suit you. x
God bless you honey! ❤ We will just keep your videos on auto play! Congratulations 🎊!!! Don’t ever apologize for crying and hormones ❤That means you have a strong pregnancy!! ❤❤you take it easy ❤you are literally growing a baby ❤takes a lot out of Mamas 💗💗Lots of prayers covering you! 🙏🙏❤️🥰❤️💗💗
Wait, what?!?! When did she announce she was pregnant!!! She didn't look like it at all in the swimsuit!!
Ahhh I think you may have commented on the wrong video?
Where's lo to try it lol 😆
Surely the point of beading is that you take your time placing the beads the way you want them. If you don't want to do that, then don't! Machine is ridiculous.
