This vid made me think it would be fun to do an occasional Chris(topher?) channel TAKEOVER for some food episodes, where Rach chooses the items/recipes, Chris introduces and cooks, then Rach et al. test and decides. He always has so many opinions after the fact, might as well make him be responsible for kitchen decisions, LOL.

So here in NZ we don’t really do “rice krispy squares” - marshmallow fluff isn’t really a thing over here.
But we do have “Rice Bubble slice” which has a honey based binding [side note - Rice Bubbles are the same as rice Krispys].
I would love for you to make them and see what you think.
    125g butter
    1/4 cup sugar
    3tbsp honey
Melt all together in a pot.
Mix through 5 cups of Rice Bubbles/ rice krispys
Pour into lined tin and leave to set in fridge.
    Slice and enjoy.

One thing each on pizza and pickles:
-Bacon and jarred banana peppers is currently my favorite pizza
-The local farmers market had a recipe last summer for cucumber slaw that was fantastic and I really like on a burger. It's 1/2-1T sugar; 1/4 c white vinegar; 1/2 of a small onion; 1 cucumber; salt/pepper; and any othe veggies to taste (carrot, capers, bell pepper...). You shred the cucumber w/ the big holes on a grater and then let that drain in a strainer for a little bit. Dice the onion and dice or shred the other veggies. Then you toss everything together in a bowl and let it sit in the fridge 20 min.

Folks who like Pineapple on Pizza (e.g., me) don't necessarily like Pickle Pizza (also me)--especially the way it's made in this video--bc it depends on your sweet and sour preferences. On my Pickle Pizza, pickles are only 1/3-1/2 as dense as shown, plus they're interspersed with "complementary" toppings like sliced steak (donair meat!) or bell peppers and onions. Also, you must use pickles that you already know you love. I don't like Dill, so I prefer half-sours brined with garlic, turmeric, sugar, and chilis (basically a spicy bread-and-butter pickle).

I was introduced to dill pickle pizza at the Minnesota State Fair in 2022. It was one of the new foods at the fair and I had to try it. In 2023, I introduced it to my husband. He said it was just okay, but I love it. My new favorite fair food.
Firstly, the restaurant/food truck that does it at the fair uses their own tangy dill ranch sauce, not a cream sauce. Secondly, they give it an extra sprinkle of dill seasoning blend and thirdly, they put the pickles on top of the cheese, not under it. The one at our state fair is sold by Rick’s Pizza and you can find a TikTok of it on their account, but local pizza joints have been making now too.
Also, why didn’t you sprinkle some flaky salt over the popcorn squares? Sweet and salty, right?

Pickles on pizza is increidble!! I live in Australia & we have a cheese burger pizza (like beef, onions, pickles, mustard, ketchup & cheese) & the sweetness of the pickle is just increidble & I 100% recommend for anyone to try ❤

S'mores Brownies: 5 min before your brownies are done and large marshmallows. When they come out sprinkle with mini dark chocolate chips.
*People that don't eat a lot of sugar are sometimes sensitive to milk chocolate and normally say white chocolate is too sweet and tend to like dark chocolate better.

Popcorn balls are a family favorite around the Christmas holidays. I’d try adding a splash of vanilla to the “sauce”. As for the pizza, I really don’t like warm pickles to the extent I ask that they not be put on my fast food burgers. Yukka! But to each their own.

I own a restaurant where we make a pickle pizza! The trick is sprinkling dry ranch powder on it at the end. And a sprinkle of hot sauce is great too!

I know Christopher said don't give pizza crust advice (in some past video), but i have to.
Add to 14 cup food processor and blend briefly:
    33oz bread flour
    2 1/4 tsp salt
In large pouring container measure and combine:
    630ml room temp water
    1 tsp instant yeast
    45ml olive oil
While pulsing the food processor, pour the liquid into the dry ingredients. Once mostly combined, run food processor for 30 seconds. Remove to lightly greased large bowl, let rise (I make my dough at least five hours before I need it, and as much as eight hours). Makes three to four crusts, depending on preference. Preheat pizza stone at 500 at least 30 minutes. Top pizzas as desired and bake 10-12 minutes.
The long rise time is key.

We add smarties/m&ms, pretzels and sometimes sprinkles to the popcorn treat. We put it in an angel food cake pan (funnel?) and slice it like it’s cake 🤤

I would love to see you make some pink popcorn. Apparently, it's a Canadian thing (or it was, it's been a while since I've seen any in a store), it doesn't exist anywhere else, but more people need to know about it!

For the popcorn squares (we put them in ball form in our house.) add salt to the popcorn or use salted butter you get the salty sweet a little more
