Looks good and the lift is great but they way they talked I was expecting more stuff along the route. Like some effects or screens in the tunnels or at least something at the end before you turn back to the station
I am so let down watching this. They made it look like it was going to be a story throughout the entire ride. The aqua duck is so much longer, and, better
@@kristaltinsler9034 Haven't ridden either so can't say which is better, but honestly the Aquaduck looked so lackluster as well. It's got a longer "slide" section but half of it is just a flat straight tube. This one at least has some winding but still weak. Really wish it had more theming and story elements along the slide.
Not at all what it was promoted as. I'm sure people will enjoy it the same way people enjoy the aqua duck, but it is really basically the same except it has a super long slow lift with clips that are a little disjointed. They don't interact or immerse the rider at all or ever transition seamlessly from one to the next. To boast this as "The first Disney Attraction At Sea" is a little much. This would not be an "E-ticket" comparable to Micky and Minnie Runaway Railway, Rise of the rmResistance, Guardians, or Flight of Passage. This would be an A or B level ride at best. I will still do it and enjoy it, but I imagined so many more effects.
This is pretty underwhelming compared to the Aquaduck. From when the slide actually starts to splashdown it’s 28 seconds long, the Aquaduck is about 50 seconds long. Not sure why Disney thought a short slide with a windowless tunnel with a few screens counts as an “attraction”. It’s a turn, tiny drop, 2 uphill blasters, and another turn.
@@alucard2010 I mean. This is a verrry slow ride up a windowless tunnel before one mini hill and a turn. It’s essentially a downgrade in every way, except the “theming” which is quite underwhelming
@@andydang5257 I disagree. A slow ride that overlooks the kiddie pool is hardly theming for the aqua duck. The first 25 seconds of aqua duck is the best part. I would rather they cut out the rest then extend it even more
@@alucard2010 I never said the Aquaduck was themed, but the “exciting” portion of this one is less interesting and shorter than Aquaduck, and the themed tunnel isn’t interesting at all. I’m not saying Aquaduck is perfect but there’s really nothing better about this one
@@andydang5257 I disagree. They cut out the last 30 seconds and tightened up the ride, plus you don't need to walk up those poorly themed stairs, which this is a huge plus
Thanks for sharing. I was definitely excited to see this and was curious in how it would turn out. This is different but I prefer the AquaDuck. It was a bit underwhelming :/. It might be a different story in person.
They need to turn off the lights and make it look like your underwater aqua or blue lighting with some water ripples effects and bubbles and add more screens or 3d print onto the plane panels.
They usually have light at the top, but they were off in this video. For the version of the ride that was shown here, the lights are orange/red. Forthe underwater version of the ride, the lights are blue. The underwater version of the ride is much better in my opinion, as the tunnel is very dark with blue lights at the top, it helps with the underwater theme. This mountain one looks mediocre at best.
They could have made it longer and had a better ending but the tunnel I feel like is fine. We have to remember it’s on a cruise ship and there’s limited space so I’m not fully upset, but yes they could have made it somewhat longer and with more effects.
@@idriscouncil8334 Yeah because we have to wait until the last float has been put on the belt to put someone new on. It takes like two minutes between rides which I think is unnecessary.
For the price of this cruise, this video was very eye-opening. They're cutting costs evidently leaving screens off lol and charging cruise goers a fortune to experience it👀
Really one benefit I see is that its a continuous loop and looks like it only needs one person to operate it. The AquaDuck needs an operator at the top and the bottom.
I really thought this was gonna be a ride in the sense that it was an attraction, not just tv screens in the tunnel. But oh well. A slide is a slide. 🤷♀
I've wanted to see what the ride looks like in person idc if its short love the animations in the beginning! and cant wait to ride it someday I've already rode the AquaDuck on the Disney Dream.
I think it's really cool though I like it but they should add more theme to this ride and since they're also building two other ships and when they build another aqua mouse maybe they will do more theme and animatronics guys!😊👍
Animatronics inside it is difficult but they could use all that frames as screens instead of only some of them and you could get the action going along with you
I would like this more if it was longer but the fact it’s 23 seconds is so frustrating. I like the tunnel, I don’t think they would have been able to fit any animatronics or anything so I’m fine with that. The slide part might be fun but the fact it ends so quickly and the Mickey and Minnie statutes look so cheap? This could have been way better but I’ll give full judgment once I actually ride it so I’m not sure
Disappointing for what Disney promised they said it would have screens at every spot so it would be immersive and wasn’t supposed to be an underwater theme and not like that season one short but it looks like a fun slide
It’s nice but not the best they can do I expected more things but that’s why Capec sucks and other stuff on the ads it looks funner but this is really what Disney cruise lines do for there fans it’s nice but not nicer then expected
Wouldnt it be better to just be a slide them? Without the first part but with a different layout from the aquamouse. If they really wanted to do screens they are too far in between they could at least use all the frames for screens on the inside of the slide so actually look like the action is happening along side you
What a terrible design, the Aquaduck is so much better and such a fun ride. This looks very disappointing and not worth a long wait. Darn it Disney, why change something that was just perfect.
I’m sorry but this is very disappointing… looks like Disney once again cut alot of corners to go cheap and I’m sorry the aqua fuck that came out a decade ago is way better !!
I cannot believe that’s it. It’s so short and the only “attraction” is watching short clips. That’s disappointing.
Looks good and the lift is great but they way they talked I was expecting more stuff along the route. Like some effects or screens in the tunnels or at least something at the end before you turn back to the station

Wow look at all the exposed screws and unfinished seams at the base when going up the lift. Looks cheap AF
Looks cool but seems kinda short. After that last tunnel I was waiting for more and it just ended. Is Aquaduck longer?
It is longer but it's a slow ride after the initial drop and 2 hills. Not that thrilling. . Plus you have to walk to the top
