Awesome video. It took me 48 hours to fully setup my laptop with Dual Boot Mac OS Catalina and Windows 10. It was a pain in the butt due to multiple clover EFI files/config.plist but finally managed to do it. Just took me a day to finally boot from verbose to installer only.

Followed this guide and successfully installed Mountain Lion on Dell OptiPlex 990! AMD Radeon R7700 HD, 8GB Ram, 1GB VRAM (Installing RN. Will update when done.)
Update: graphics card limited boots to safe mode. Removed and works fine. No onboard graphics for Intel HD Graphics 2000 though. It works flawlessly with some graphical effects in chrome and Firefox.
im planning on switching to a pc from a MacBook and going AMD based would it be a good idea to sell the Macbook so my question Is does the macOS run smooth enough and perfectly ? or would you suggest keeping the MacBook

Would have been helpful if you told people where to find a copy of Catalina. All the versions I have found are ISO not DMG which I'm not sure will work
Opencore is more stable and its only 700mb (its online installer) its safer since these iso’s/dmg/raws are modified where with opencore you install directly from Apple just like a Mac installing installer tool
Hey Man , Thanks for the video. Just wanted to share that if anyone out there has Lenovo G580 Laptop , this tutorial works. Just have to change graphics card from bios setting to use onboard graphics. The Bluetooth and Wifi doesn't work. The onboard Intel Graphics works fine. For sound install the latest VoodooHDA with classic settings. Feel free to ask if you have question. Once again Thanks for the Video.

@@user-vs3uu7mk5f first remember to chose UMA instead of switchable graphics in bios setting. Then follow the video and instead of choosing AMD (which is his graphic card) chose inject Intel . That's it

Thanks!!! I actually followed the internet install on reddit and made a usb on mac using one of the utilities (forgot what its called, sorry) and then followed the rest of the guide. Worked perfectly!!!

In W10, go to search, type in Computer management and select it. In the left sidebar under "Storage" group you should have Disk management. Right click to CLOVER partition, and select Change drive letter and path -> Add. And then select some letter you want. After that, I was able to see the Clover efi partition.
Assuming I install ios correctly on my AMD-Win10 machine, would iMessage work with my iPhone even though it's a dualboot running on a non-apple build? How would that look with a wired connection on my PC and lte data being used for the connection on my iphone? I'm assuming it would work okay, but i'm not sure where in the network layer my phone recieves the text to be messaged. It's probably more work than it's worth if imessage needs a shared network wireless connection or something sticky like that.

I don't think so. If you already have windows running we can install Catalina on a specific partitioned disk like D: But NOT C: which contains windows os.

I created a Bootable USB using TransMac However I can only see the drive on my PC not the CLOVER Partition that should have been created.

Just getting issue in installing bootloader but fix that one by installing latest version on multibeast.
And three files that people were saying is of multibeast skip them all just install new version of Catalina multibeast instead of Mojave version.

Currently running catalina 10.15.4 . Tried to install windows using bootcamp. But halfway through the windows setup. my mac crashes and i got a flickering screen on my mac. And the windows disk is not available upon startup :(

For example, the Ms Word file I created in MacOS can not be opened smoothly in Windows. Sometimes the content of the file is corrupted.

Ahh I can't seem to make the EFI clover partition. After the mac image is there on the USB it won't show anything in This PC. can't go any further than that now can I?

@@miodozer4678 You create a new partition for your disk then you split it inside of the mac os installer and then you are able to install it on the other partition and to keep windows, then you may use clover to make it recognize both Os's

At time 6:00 you copy some file into the USB key, but where can I find them? You say "in the description", but there's only Multibeast and Clover Config Tool!

6XX and 7XX series cards will work with all versions of MacOS, 9XX and 10XX series cards will not work after high Sierra , 16XX, 20XX and 30XX are not supported in any version of macos

This guide is somewhat of a deception.
Every hackintosher with some fair knowledge knows that the Clover bootloader files and settings (efi, config.plist) is the most important early part to hackintosh_install via a bootloading usb. At 4: 30, guy just said '...your Mac image file...". It is not; it already has pre-installed Clover (with settings) plus the actual macOS installer. The Clover will not work for all PCs as set; it needs to be fine-tuned specific to PC hardware. I can tell you the "Catalina Mac image file" (if the guy downloaded it from the site I suspect) will fail if you try hackintoshing an ASUS A555L laptop.

i created the bootable usb with Catalina (via TransMac), did all the changes in BIOS .. tried to boot up with the usb .. but it only shows black screen with white bar flashing and nothing is happening .. :( why can't i go into installation process?
Hey this is great- however I’m wondering if it is normal for the first install from clover boot loader of macOS to be constantly automatically rebooting after every page? ( also I have had to manually reboot a couple of times as it would stop and not go forward) It usually freezes or stops at
HID: Legacy shim 2 then I reboot and it goes to next page and continues and then auto reboots after every page for a while again. It’s not the same page rebooting but doesn’t seem normal

No not UEFI because some people use the old Legacy format (Me) so let people open msinfo32 (Win+R and type msifo32 and look for UEFI or Legacy)
Hi, simple question but important. I have windows installed with everything, I'd rather not re-install windows and begin again. Can I create a partition/2nd drive, install mac os/catalina & still boot into my existing windows via dual boot?

Running both OSs on the same drive is not advised. Always use separate drives and ensure the Windows update service can't access the Mac EFI partition.

efi file not showing up after creating a usb boot disk for MacOS on windows in transmac. No way i can see a EFI folder, so what do i need to do if no EFI was created?
You have to use 'Niresh Catalina' image if you want to follow the exact steps, both partitions are included in the image. If you use official image you have create the partition manually and put clover files along with proper kexts and all. I hope this makes sense. Thanks!

Little Update since i made my Hackintosh ! So im Basically ruinnin Lenovo - IdeaCentre 520 All-In-One - Intel 'Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 1TB HDD .
First Problem i had was that i wasn't getting my wifi to work but turns out Qualcomm Atheros cards don't work, so i just use a android phone with Bluetooth tethering not the best speed but decent enough for me .
Second problem is that i keep reading how Intel HD 610 Graphic cards aren't supported with hackintoshes so some applications don't work Properly .
just thought i put this out here incase anyone is also using this machine or close to the specs .
but other than that no issues at all ! i did this for fun anyways !

Yes, you can keep both of the drives plugged when you need to use only one of the operating systems, and there are some methods to run only one operating system (either windows or macOS) And you don't need to install windows again. BTW I do not know how but I know that you can my friend has 4 hdd and uses like 4 different operatyng systems.
Edit: I recommend you to use Mojave macOS, it has less problems than Catalina
Hello, mine is Dell Laptop Inspiron 5370, i-core5, 8 GB RAM, Intel Graphics 620, 256 SSD running Windows 10 and along side Windows Ubuntu installed. I created the usb flash drives as mentioned in the video. After entering the boot parameters a verbose screen comes up and then again after few seconds reboots to boot selection menu. (while booting also made sure to boot with selected options).
