Love seeing a little guy--by NHL standards--play and behave as if he's one of the most intimidating players in the league. Fans for other teams are haters, of course, but make no mistake, the other players in the league respect the shit out of Brad Marchand and a great majority of those even fear him. I remember when he first came up and saying "this guys suks". Seeing him make the Team the following year thinking "what a mistake". Early into the season I was in a 7-11 or something and and the game was on the radio. And before I left he scored 2 goals and my attitude was slowly changing. Love him, sorry I was wrong.
You might "like" the Bruins, but with a take like that, it's obvious you don't follow them closely... His teammates love him, his opponents respect him and his coaches praise him. The only people that speak bad of him, are couch dwelling fans of other teams. ANYONE who coached or played at a high level, knows that Marchand is way more than "a rat" and it's only the salty, casual hockey fans that spew nonsense. Even Montreal fans will say they hate him, but they still respect his abilities as a play maker.
