That is the Chevy/GMC 2500 Express and Savana Vans, that only fall short in one area, but can be customized to match, that’s is the high roof option that must be taken care of in the aftermarket realm. But still added cost are still comparable. But where they do shine is the decades long time to work out kinks and improvements. Plus the choice of either a 4.3 LT, 276hp, 298 lbs ft tq V6, standard or a 6.6 LT, 401hp, 464 lbs ft tq, V8. Both with variable valve timing and HD 8 speed trans. With up to 16,000 CGVWR, to tow up to 9,600 tow rate. All for a loaded 15 passenger with total body dark privacy glass for under $55k! Or Cargo version loaded with every option, for safety and comfort and power for under $50k. Add up to $12k for 6.5’ headroom roof, or the same for a true 4x4 High/low system. That will still be less expensive than similar Ford or Mercedes, with a fraction of service costs. But might not be able to match mpg with the bigger 401 hp V8, with enough extra power to walk away from the competition, but have the V6 to do so if needed.
