Insane that the Oxlade-Chamberlain which provided a goal and assist against Liverpool in the FA Cup, went onto win every other major trophy for Liverpool.

It’s crazy as a newer football fan t’osee all these players and who they used to play and Howard Webb as a ref on the field
as a Liverpool supporter from 1980, I've watched our miserable downfall from 1990/91 - 1999/00 in just winning the FA Cup under Souness and League Cup under Evans.
2000/01 - 2008/09 I've watched Houllier's rebuild and carry on by Benitez for all being destroyed by Hicks and Gillette from 2009/10 - 2010/11 b4 FSG acquired Liverpool and watched the rebuild all over again from 2011/12 till present.
My point is, whoever takes over from Klopp, I sure hope he can do a much better job or stay on par as Klopp

Carragher really should have cleared his lines for that third goal in the 3-1 game. Arsenal then beat us 6-3 in the League Cup a few days later.

Yep, totally changed the game that did. Arsenal penalty, Henchoz straight red for handball on the line preventing a certain goal and Liverpool down to 10 men for the rest of the game. Pretty unlikely they win from there.
but since that game we got 3 straight after... so cant complain... but ya... it was crazy how we lost that game... i was 21 at the time... in my early youth... how time flies🥲

If my memory is still right I think that was the first year the FA Cup final was played at Cardiff while the Old Wembley was being rebuild.
