Thats cool. Some RPG riddles can be very boring, especially if you challenge players intelligence and not the characters int. But here you can easily change some statue positions and everybody knows what to do, turns them into right direction and has some fun. Like in Skyrim or so.
Stumbled across your channel yesterday...and glad I did... Love the build bro! Simple yet complex in its own regard... Can't wait to duplicate it and put my spin on it! Now to binge watch your previous videos!!!!
You have some incredible ideas for crafts, and this use of the GI Joe figures is outstanding. The laser for a puzzle in the game is awesome, and it looks rad! I don't know how you come up with these ideas. Nice use of the other figure, too, for the laser box.
Saw the /r/Terrainbuilding post and had to watch the build, it was very good, what i didn't expect was the adventure clip which made the whole thing even better :D Subbed
I have an amazing kit bash/dollar store creation in the works. Can't wait to share it with everyone. When you finish up your project share it with me on Instagram.
This was my first video... Usually I get all DnD craft related recommendations, but this is the first time for you???!! I really like the channel and subscribed! Now I started back to binge-watch. Family & friend DnD is so much fun! I craft for my DM games too! Wishing success to you.
I love your statuary work. It does however beg the question, have you ever thought of creating large based humanoids? Smaller Giant races, Half Giants, Goliaths, etc.
Hmm what if the Medusa was a trophy mount with a blindfold over her eyes and the characters could then move the mirrors around and take off the blindfold, bouncing the gaze into a target
I also have these g.i. Joe's would spraying them bronze weathered with dry brush silver look good I want to use it on a diorama as an ancient statue on a 1/ 64th scale post apocalyptic style
That sounds like a great color scheme. I've only done bronze statues once but I'm pretty happy with the turn out. Primed them in gray, based them in bronze and then stippled on brown, black, then green and blue washes. Finished them up with a watered down turquoise wash. I do have a video on it.
I love Lady Tinley and her Shamrock Boys more all the time. ???: *what appears to be a busty living Barbie-doll in a hot-pink longcoat, halter-top and bell-bottoms walks in with an umbrella on her shoulder and a silver-skinned, platinum-haired feminine youth by her side in similar dress, but blue and white with a spear and sword* "Alright, you nerds! The Wizard Of Snark sends his regards along with us as reinforcements! I'm Meredith ir'Velo, Beloved Of The Tribunal... Merry to my friends! The metal cutie is Galateon Of Meletis, Wheel Of Fortune! The GI Joes I bought at dollar tree. The Medusa came from this set I got for a Christmas present. www.amazon.com/SCS-Direct-Fantasy-Creatures-Playset/dp/B0746TKNSL?ref_=ast_sto_dp
Love the round tile, really beautiful and functional! Also, I love the figure with the tail, where did you get that or what is the name or brand? I want to get one. Gorgeous build!
My daughter purchased a pack of figures for me as a gift. They are low detail and not up to the standards of other brands, but they work well as generic monsters for the table and make great statues for crafting. amzn.to/3oWlT5g
You got a subscriber out of me, and i also told my D&D buddies about your channel :) I have a homebrew world of my own, and i would like to have a story of yours in it! I can fit pretty much anything somewhere if you have some ideas.
Wow I still cant find them and have been to several Dollar trees in my area. Not available online either.Do you have any left so I could see the package to try and find them elsewhere? Thanks!
Great idea! Thanks for the longer story at the end. I enjoy when your build comes to life like that!
Thank you. I liked doing the story bit.
What a cool idea and execution!
Always nice when a simple project leads to great adventure. Really enjoyed this
Brilliant craft!
Very entertaining. Nice job.
Glad you did the smoke at the end. No point in having the laser if you can't see it.
This is fantastic.
Man, what a great concept! And I love when parts of a unique build lend themselves to reuse like that platform. Really cool stuff.
This was amazing!!! They turned out to make amazing statues!!!
This is brilliant, really great 👍
Wow. Just, wow. Great job.
LASERS! That demo at the end, AMAZING!
Yeah, I still get chills when that smoke hits the lasers. 😎

Sweet concept. Love your work man! Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant!
Great very cool.
Thank you Grim!
Awesome setup with the laser. Subbed.
cool idea, done well, too. :) looks like lots of fun... and lots of dice-rolls. XD
Nicely Done 👍
Destro has a hellraiser cenobite look about him. Never see figures this good in the UK.
awesome idea to have a laser with mirrors to activate/solve a puzzle!
Thank you
Dude! What a great idea. I just saw those G.I. Joe figures. Now I have a great excuse to pick some up. Thanks.
You're welcome! Craft on!
You are like the Bob Ross of tabletop builds. Watching your videos are so relaxing and enjoyable.
Thank you so very much.
But you did a fantastic job and have given me some inspiration

Appreciate it. I borrowed this idea from video games and their adventure puzzles.

So glad to have you.
You're the first to get me into kitbash hobby. Just got started after ordering tons of supplies.

I do have some loose plans to do more figure making. Making the Pumpkin King was a blast. Looking forward to making more.
Mind blown
What a charming video and build definitely subscribed:)
Dude, I liked and subscribed in under 30 seconds of the vid. Dollar store comment had me.
I feel ya man.
Thank you so much.
Are you using one of those white gridded cutting mats upside down? Dude. Brilliant!
Wow I've never seen GI Joe in the dollar store.
After you watch all of my videos first of course.
Hmm what if the Medusa was a trophy mount with a blindfold over her eyes and the characters could then move the mirrors around and take off the blindfold, bouncing the gaze into a target
That's a great idea and a wonderful spin on the craft.

Awesome build! Is it difficult to change the batteries in the laser pointer? Cheers!
Surprisingly easy. Having the back of the pointer (unscrews for batteries) as the mechanism worked out well.
Yep, good to go, good to go...... We get it
I'm always trying to improve on my videos. Was there something in particular you didn't like?
First to see lasers
Awesome work! What store did you buy those Dollar GI Joe figures at? That Medusa doesn't look store bought either?

That sounds fun. I'll give it some thought. Thanks for checking out the channel 😀👍🙂
The dollar stores in Altoona PA don't have them!!😞
Hopefully they'll get some soon.
Man where can I get these?I usually only go to Dollar Tree, are they there?
Yeah picked them up at the dollar tree. Was super stoked to find them.

Great build!
Anyone else see a face in the fabric to the right of Cobra commander at 17:49? lol
I see a weird Snork shark thingie... Or maybe Jabberjaws?
Did you find these at Family Dollar/Dollar General?
The dollar tree. I hope you find some.
@@brokenterrain wow I would have never thought they'd be there. I assumed they were scaled back figures at a $2.99-4.99 price point
Where did the shamrock boys mini come from
The frostgrave soldiers box is where they are from. You get the parts to make 20 unique soldiers. It's a great value and I highly recommend them.
@@brokenterrain nice!
Where are you btw, None of the dollar trees near me have these yet....
I'm in Michigan.
@@brokenterrain thanks, my sister is too
What Color did you use
Not sure. This project was done some time ago.
