I had a pair of ripped jeans get caught and hung up in my shifter one time. I was riding down the road trying to unloop it or rip it off, but neither happened. When I finally stopped I tried to “unhook” myself, lost my balance and over I went haha. I’ve been lucky so far other than that.

Bike turned to the left, he hit the brakes, leaned the bike to the left, and she started hopping off to the left. Timberrrrrrrrr! Should have swung it more then straightened and stopped. Then let her get off. With the bike turned in on itself and leaning in on that turn in, it's the shortest, quickest path to the ground. Have had it near happen to me a few times over the decades.
