It's really unfortunate but women will do anything and suspend all rules for men who they believe have money or look successful. All the rules they have for most men they will suspend them for a rich man. She did catch an incurable disease. STDs is different than STIs (sexual transmitted infections). STIs are like gonorrhea and Chlamydia. She probably contracted HSV. And now has decided she wants to be monogamous due to that fact. If it was an STI that she caught, she wouldn't say STD. And also probably wouldn't bring it up because she would have gotten treatment.

It’s so important to not get scammed by these words being used to establish expectations. It’s important to set standard and not agreeing with their standard until you get a great look at what they have to offer.
I’d love to see folks have a little more empathy. As judgmental as people are, you’d think they didn’t have a past themselves. I’d like to clarify that I’ve never been for the streets. Thank God, my mom instilled morals and self-respect at a very early age. But I also understand that not everyone’s had that blessing, some grew up with fast moms and think that’s the norm. Everyone has their reasons. She stated that she didn’t set boundaries due to her low self-esteem. So although the behavior was unacceptable, there was a serious underlying issue at the root of it. I’m thankful to the Lord that she snapped out of it and now understands, even if it’s “late” in some eyes. Just because you did wrong before doesn’t mean you can’t rectify it now, at any age!
