I'm trying to work out what the lyrics are from when the girl sings "the honey glow of the stream inside?" Something about black maybe? ANyone read the lyrics or know the lyrics from the honey glow bit???
Yes, the "theatrical pop" sound they are banking on definitely has been the sound of Pasek and Paul for a while now. (Which is why I wondered why many people are saying it's something they've never heard before.) I can totally see the style of many songs in the show reminiscent of DEH. That said, I'd still be interested in seeing this. :-)

It's a bit to similar in sound to Dear Evan Hanson...You will be found...great story but seems a tad of a copy

You need to see it on the west end, it’s so much better theatrically than DEH. And I LOVE DEH
