I'm definitely one of those people who wants her original look too! I freaking love that movie and always wished they'd actually released a brandy Cinderella doll and even customized one of my spare brandy dolls into Cinderella, but to actually have an official one? Eeeeeee!!! I'm so excited!!!
THEY'RE FINALLY RELEASING A BRANDY CINDERELLA DOLL!!! YES! MY CHILDHOOD WISH IS COMING TRUE! Ohmygosh I'm so excited for that! I thought i was excited to hear that my scene was coming back this year when i first heard the news awhile back, but to finally get a brandy Cinderella tops everything!! Eeeee!! Ohmygosh PLEASE tell me they're gonna make a doll for prince Chris too!! They need to! I have still to this day never found a doll that looks enough like him to be a custom made version like my Cinderella is. Ohmygosh i really really really hope we'll get both of them as dolls! I would happily pay full price for those if they did, instead of waiting for sales or second hand like i usually do!!💃🏼🥳💃🏼🥳💃🏼🥳💃🏼🥳💃🏼

I can’t wait for My Scene dolls, Cleo and Skelita 🤩🫶🏻🤩.
“Papel Picado” is a traditional decorative craft tissue paper cutting with different designs and it was used on Skelita’s skirt signature doll 🤷🏻♂️ so you can imagine how that would look like in the new doll.
But the fact that there are so many different designs of Papel Picado that’s very intriguing to me ✌🏻.
I wonder if Skelita would look like The Catrina from The Book of Life (2014) that would be sick 🤩.

@@PeachYReviews19 Yeah! When I read about the hat and candle shoes my mind immediately associated all that description with that Catrina 🤩.
But I guess it’s better to not have or least have lower expectations about a new release 🤭.
Papel Picado are those colorful paper cut outs that line houses in Mexico during festival. You can see them in coco the movie. Not being mean, but maybe looking things up before posting a video would be good. It’s not the first time I’ve heard you say, I don’t know what that it.

Hi peachy! To define some of the terms used in Skelita’s description, papel picado is basically elaborately designed paper. Think like her g1 core’s skirt. The la Catrina is basically like Maria Garcia’s hat from Rainbow High.

Licensing a character isn’t the same as licensing a real person. To do Ariana Grande as Glinda Mattel needs to get permission from the filmmaker and from the person and pay both residuals.
I think they got that covered otherwise they wouldn’t be making the dolls for the movie if the they don’t look like the actors 🤔

I was so happy and excited about the return of My Scene until I saw how they basically made the original designs more childish.
Hoping the final look will be amazing!
@@PeachYReviews19 Me too! I really want this to do well and be something good because I want them to fully return. But as it stands now I'm not feeling the childish vibes. Like we have the fashionistas and their colorful potato sacks for that. I was hoping My Scene could gear toward older audiences and bring back real fashion, trends, and runway looks instead of looking like 10 year olds shopping at a knock-off Claire's or justice or something.
