I'm so glad you mentioned that there are so many different ways to teach math. Also, math doesn't have to be a grit and bear it subject! It can be fun and interesting. Great video! ❤️
I am so happy I came across your channel just the other day! Your videos I've watched so far are great and I look forward to watching more as well as new ones in the future. I am a mom of 3 kids ages 9, 11, and 17. You have amazing tips and ideas. Thank you! ❤
I am planning to purchase BJU's full video/books package for grades 5 & 7 for my two kids. The BJU package includes all the subjects they need including math... However after watching the samples of teaching text books I am thinking its the way to go for math. So if I get the BJU package that includes math but also get teaching text books would that mean I just have my kids ignore all the BJU math lessons or do both?
If you don’t want to use the BJU math, would it not be cheaper to just purchase the subjects you want? Also, if you wait until March, I’ll have a BJU coupon code for you all! To answer your question though, I wouldn’t do both math curriculums. I would just stick with one to avoid confusion.
@@aplacetonest It looks like the BJU full homeschool video/books package contains 4 subjects... Math, English, History (World Studies), and Science for $1,050. These can purchased individually for $350 each, so unfortunately even if I just purchased English, History, and Science my total would still be $1,050. The total package is basically buy 3 get one free. Yes please, I am very interested in your BJU coupon, please do share once available. So OK, we will just ignore the BJU math then because I am 100% sure teaching textbooks is our best option available for Math. I also have one other question... did your child get some sort of high school diploma after doing home school?
4 years ago You helped me with getting started with homeschool.
I had no idea where to begin.
Thank You for you videos.
You are so welcome!
Honestly for some reason after watching your video I feel more confident teaching math lol you just encouraged me to try harder. Thank you
You got this!
