Arthur Ds1 last gen e coupe was Already much better than c coupe (i had both of them for a while). The c class is sportier, but the comfort, quality, interior and just the amount of features make the e class so much better.

hm... i personally think merc missed a few things with the facelift of both the coupe and sedan in the lighting. The previous healights were much better imo. The dual LEDs made the E class so distinctive and also the stardust tailghts... (althought i do love the SHAPE of the new tails on the sedan.)

Yeah just before I clicked on this video I was thinking the same thing. I knew AutoTopNL with like 100k subs and I just knew that they would grow like crazy. Now they are at 2Mil. This channel won't get big in the near future (thumbnails not flashy enough, content too informative, yeah it's stupid), but maybe in the next 2/3 years.
STOP referring to it as an entry-level AMG. The word "Entry" implies a low-cost AMG. At $80,000 it's NOT a low cost anything. The entry AMG is the A35. This is a between model with many AMG tuned parts.
I’m a AMG-fan and I love their new designs. Mercedes has stepped up their game and are making beautiful cars at the moment. But I don’t like that all the models start to look like the same car with a different enigen and size. I would love to see more differences between the C and E-class. Or between 63 and 43/53 versions and so on...
Exactly, Its not like their new design is a mess, but when you copy paste it into every model, how can you distinguish between c- and e- class.. that, in my eyes, is just sad.. It all comes down to costs i guess..

Mercedes was smashing it with interior and quality. Now their quality is definitely lacking. Even the facelift s class has inferior quality compared to the pre facelift model. The power is there but the engine work and dynamics are lacking, the gearbox lags and the infotainment trackpad is frustrating especially in the uk where most people are right handed.
They made some good choices on the external style, those brake lights look younger than the sparkle look. Not a fan of the red spec but the car on the whole looks amazing.
No joke but this cannel has the sickkest editing skills. I mean edditing skills that not overloaded like you are watching a Transformer movie. Editing skills that are so good that you cant tell which one is real or not.
Wish they'd get rid of that silly quarter glass fixed window at the rear it ruins the look of it and reminds me of the old Mazda 929 hatch side on, they need to reinforce the chassis another way so it's a proper pillarless coupe like the W124 Coupes, that said there all starting to look the same, the C Class sedan looks like the E Class sedan and I bet the new S Class will look the same, also AMG have really diluted the brand making it not that special anymore like the past, here in Australia it seems like every second Benz is an AMG almost to the point of being common. Sedan looks better than the E Class Coupe due to that terrible extra bit of glass at the back.
Steering wheel is looking cheap to be honest. Having sat in both the new BMWS and Merc, BMW is definitely leading in the interior quality side of things.
E63S Render was beautiful, I'm so excited for the Estate to come out. I've always found the estate to be the best of both worlds, utility and sheer AMG-ness
So glad they didn't destroy the rear end of the E class coupe like they did with the saloon, this is a great looking car and it sounds awesome, usually AMG growl is grunt way too OTT.
It's a shame we won't get the AMG Performance Seats but that's understandable as it's an entry-level AMG. Really, really aggressive front end I must say.
If you haven't noticed, Mercedes cars generally do look like one another it's their design language across each model. I mean look at the W202, W124 and W140 for looking the same, you can't complain about the new models at all.

Do you know whether this has been omitted from UK spec for the E53 coupe and if so could you check with AMG about this to confirm it is not available on the 2020 refresh? Thanks
Idk if u ended up getting the car but i think he is talking bull crap about that package. Uk doesnt have it anywhere 3 years from then and no dynamic package anywhere including the usa market. What is so sad is that he didnt even change the description of this video to reflect that all these years later.
Normally the panamericana grill looks much better. But i think on the E53 the double wing would be nicer, because the grill of the E53 is smaller than the one of the S 63 .
I’m trying to love it. The styling is definitely there. But the 2021 M4 is said to be a 12.2 1/4mile while this is a 13.6-13.8. Which is 4cyl Honda Accord 2.0 times. The M4 is a better deal, here.
To me the headlights and the taillights look taller and narrower, which probably they aren't, but when I first saw the pics I thoght I am looking at a lowered two door GLC.
am i the only one that doesn’t like the direction that mercedes’ overall design is going? it all started with the new CLS with those angular daytime running lights, followed by the new GLE, and from there on out i think mercedes’ new design language kind of went odd. in my opinion, the best looking cars that mercedes produced were from the years 2015 - 2018.
The car looks amazing especially with the AMG grill but the rear windows on the coupe are hideous,so to answer your question of which version looks the best I would then say the upcomming convertible

To me the E class is probably the best model in the whole Mercedes line to own. Understated, sufficient interior space and boot space. However the lack of a V8 choice in the coupe is just simply ridiculous, based off Daimler's greed to milk buyers into getting the GT63S, which is disproportionately more cost uncompetitive. Stick the damned V8 4.0l, even the C63's version into the E coupe and we have a deal. If not, this is just fancy trickery to milk your customers at really a way overpriced cost for a V6. Give your buyers what they want.
I really don't like the dots replacing the eyebrows. Not distinctive enough for the headlights. This past generation was probably the best we've had. I can't believe they got rid of the stardust rearlights either. But the light blocks was obvious to happen because whatever the S Class Coupé has gets drip fed to everything else.
The light-blocks are unfortunate. I think they look very sporty but less “classy”. They should have gone for the star-like patron in the normal luxury versions and put the light-blocks in AMG-models or in an optional AMG exterior-pack. Missed opportunity for Mercedes. Even budget-wise it probably wouldn’t diminish the profit margins on the car if there were two rear-light options they had to keep in stock. The development of the “star-version” was already done and they could use it in the new car with extra profit on the part, and the development of the light-blocks was to be done anyway but they would be able to charge you extra for it as an option. Bit of a shame
There are going to be some people who will say it's not a V8 it's not are real AMG it doesn't sound like an AMG should. It's really not how many cylinders there are it's what the engine can do and at well over 400 bhp not counting the electric boost, this engine can do A LOT, and it sounds very good doing it.

Living in Québec, where temperatures can drop to -20°C, I experienced numerous issues with my E53 AMG. Most of the electronic components had to be replaced due to their unreliability, including the rear camera, heated seats, instrument cluster, headlamps, and rear window motors. Not to mention, the car is made of cheap plastic, and the outdated software was never updated. You have to pay extra for every single feature, like remote start, for example. The leather seats wore out so badly after just 40,000 kilometers that they looked like they belonged to a 20-year-old car. I had to replace them entirely. In short, I sold the car and I’m happy to say I will never buy from MB again.
Have to disagree with you on the potential E63s coupe being a redundant car. Here in Australia an E63s is around $270’000 while the AMG GT 63s is around $400’000. If they were to make an E63s coupe/cabriolet here in Australia I’d predict it be just under $300’000. So there would be a price difference of over $100’000 here in Australia between the two cars. Absolutely there’s a market for it.

The sound! I have a e450 coupe and it’s fast but even in sport+ it makes zero exhaust noise
