Even though the engine note is somewhat artificial in the M340i and Supra, a part of me prefers the sounds those cars make over the E53 AMG... What do you think?! Thanks for watching!! 650hp Mk4 Supra video coming soon :D
This E53 amg coupe OR the G82/G22 M4 competition coupe/M440i coupe? Not a big difference in price ; performance leans towards BMW.....I'd assume luxury leans Benz ......
I have this car in matte blue and I love it. It’s my first AMG and it’s perfect for me. It’s not too flashy but will definitely turn heads. I get compliments all the time. I live in Los Angeles so I don’t get to drive it fast very often but it’s super easy to hit 110mph if I’m not careful. It’s the perfect balance of being able to drive fast when I want but being really comfortable if I’m in traffic, especially with driver assist. My only complaint is the trunk is kinda small. I can’t fit my golf clubs in it as easily as I could in my Honda Accord coupe. I’m curious to drive a V8 AMG, I originally ordered a fully loaded C63S but with the chip shortage it was delayed almost 9 months. So I ended up getting the E53. Very happy with my purchase.
@@Foregrlzno that’s not necessary. They fit horizontally in the trunk with my main golf bags. But if I had a big tour bag or multiple golf bags, I’d probably have to fold down the seats.
The best all around sedan "it seems". Good mileage (29 on the highway), great interior, good if not great performance and decent pricing. Not a v8, doesn't sound like one and isn't a "real" AMG (no handcrafted engine). But this car is the definition of "Jack of all trades". Cruising, some pulls, comfy interiors and good mpg.

i had two e coupes, both were traded for two better cls's. The CLS is the ultimate choice under the S class. the e was great with the pano roof BUT the drive isnt the same as a cls. Both equally comfortable suspension wise, but the CLS has less road noise inside and better driving on the freeway.

As far as i know its a 9G TCT gearbox NOT a 9G MCT!!! Unless its different for the US, Canadian market. In Europe the 63 and 63S has the MCT. Personally i drive an E53 Coupe too and i can def tell its a TCT not very fast and sometimes confused! It would have the launch mode if its an MCT!!!
As a whole, that could absolutely be said (E-Class to S6/RS6). The E53 AMG and RS5 specifically though both have a starting MSRP within a couple thousand $$, are both coupes and have turbocharged 6-cylinders putting down similar HP. The E53 AMG could also go up against the Audi S6, however the S6 isn't available as a coupe, neither is the RS6 or S7/RS7. On paper and in practice the RS5 and E53 AMG go head to head almost perfectly.
@@mala6238 I agree with you. This guy is reaching a bit with his logic. I own a 2018 A5 and I’ve test driven a E-Class coupe and the Benz is bigger in every dimension. Price wise I can see something, but sheer size is something else.

lets be honest , the real reason we buy AMG isnt for the performance its for that sexy panamericana grille lol

I always thought the RS5 is more of a c63 coupe rival
You are correct.
You are right. E55 should be competing with S5.

The E-Class is one class above an A5.
The RS5 is quicker and more hardcore no doubt.
But that's not the matter of this GT.
Rs5 killer are the M4 comp and c63 s coupe, this is e segment platform it goes against the bmw 8 series coupe.

10 HP doesnt make a .3 difference in the 0-60. It's the 10HP and 500lbs of weight savings. The e coupe is heavier than a cls
How comfortable is this one compared with its non amg counterparts? In long distance driving

NO E53 can beat any RS cars!

AUDI RS5 is better looking from the outside but the inside of the Mercedes interior is better
combine together you've got a "Meaudi"
