I would think you don’t have as many contractors now because fuel cost is high

I would still be driving for Horizon but they deleased me after 14 years and over 628,000 safety miles.

Wowwww! I sure like the fact that a contractor can actually SEE what loads are available throughout the dispatcher's list so as to better plan one's own course more easily. If I wanted to get a load heading closer to my home so I could take a break, this feature would greatly help minimize the stress of dealing with dispatchers from other companies that don't want you to go home so they do everything they can to make sure you don't have a load going that way. Sounds like this may be a good gig in my future after i get tired of hauling decked trucks.

Do you get reimbursed for money spent on fuel?

Chris, as an independent contractor, you will cover your expenses to deliver the unit. The RV delivery industry pays a flat rate by the loaded mile.

@@HorizonTransport thank you for responding. One more question how valuable is a Driver with 10 years OTR class A experience?

@@HorizonTransport thanks again for responding. Guess never hurts to call a recruiter to see what's needed. Always wanted to do something like this to give freedom to work as hard as I want or not.

Hi, My name is Ron Bunch and I'm interested in partnering up with Horizon. I have own three different RV from 32' t0 40' Winniago. The CDL you have talked about do you have your own trainers for CDL? Approximately how much are you able to make? Is there a lot of down time? I'm also considering driving for CR England and not sure which way may be more profitable? Thank you for your cooperation.
