These animals are smart and deserve to be free to swim where they want to. It is a proven fact that they become depressed in captivity because of the restriction. Keeping them in captivity is madness. Taking children there to watch them perform tricks is so wrong. Instead teach them to respect and care for all beings on this planet. The Beluga was living on this planet long before the humans got up on two legs. It lived free and roamed the Arctic ocean long before the humans developed the insanity called religion, that had them believe they were created as some sort of God image, and therfore has the right to do what they please to all other beings who live here. Oh, I forgot. The same insanity claimed that other beings living on this earth, such as the Beluga for one, have no consciousness, soul or emotions, and can therfore be treated like the humans please.

Yes, but even in Mystic they're in a relatively tiny concrete enclosure, not in thousands of miles of open sea. These aren't domestic animals, and they're probably intelligent enough (see the movie Blackfish, for example) to explicitly understand their situation... and feel pain about it.
Actually, there's no reason to think these guys are much smarter than dogs. If you pay attention to what they're doing here, with the constant signals, it's clear that the whale is at least as ignorant as a dog would be about why it can't sit on the couch. It's just programmed to react to stimuli via classical conditioning.
