Greetings, I truly appreciate your Vlogs . Keep them coming, I watch them daily. You've been inspirational these past two years (Pandemic)😷😦😉🤗😇 Best Regards TTFN Cheers 💜🇬🇧👍🏾
It's coming along well. You might take some of the curtain fabric with you when you shop for the cushion covers. The staff in the fabric shops will have plenty of recommendations re sturdiness of upholstery fabric, ease of cleaning, etc. (And we'll have to survive without observing any more sewing.)
That will be really nice when you finish it James. The foam looks pretty dense for sitting so real comfy for you and the kids. Also the slant of the back will be a relief because even with the pillows you still get that awkward bump of the wall above. So great change to kitchen area. Little bits at a time will get it all done. Your boat is looking very smart. Cheers.
James you should wear a mask when using the spray on glue, hope you don't suffer from a woozy head or sore throat later. The dinette will look great once you have put fabric on cushions. Why not consider covering them like a pillow case cover with press studs to close, that way you can remove to wash them.
Great work James. I am sure the children will appreciate it. Add an insert for Ava, and she will have a nice place to sleep. Looking forward to your fabric and color choice….which will inevitably cause a massive discussion. 😂😅🤣 Have a good week, and thank you for posting this. 🙏😊🤗 Kathy
I’m thrilled you’re back working on the inside of the boat! But I was concerned with you breathing in that spray glue. Hopefully no headaches afterwards. Love what you’re doing! When finished, please do a walk through again so we can see everything. Thank you 🙏
Grand opening scene, just lovely. Like what you’re doing. Was thinking, could you put a 1/4 or 1/2 inch strip of foam down in ‘storage’ space behind the backing? Keep gear from rattling or give a guitar some vibration cushion (of course I’m looking our for your guitars 😊)
May be it might be worth adding something to prevent heads resting back on the walls? Natural oils in the hair cause havoc with paint! (Just a thought). It’s so lovely seeing you continue with home improvements, well done you 👏🏻👏🏻’Ye King of Wing’ 😂
"opposite of dense" - that got me, and I looked up various dictionaries - turns out to be a difficult number, and the nearest I could get was "airy" or (in this case) "spongelike".
James if you put another board the exact same size and thickness behind that then all the things you store won’t be seen. It could be permanently installed and then magnetize the board with the foam to it.
I would definitely recommend using a staple gun to put the fabric on and not the spray glue as sometimes the glue can come thru the fabric and/or leave a yellow marks where the glue is. If you find some nice upholstery fabric you can buy Scotchguard Spray which will protect the cushions from spills and stains and keep them looking cleaner 🤓
How do you keep winging every project and acing it every time?! 🤔😊 That sounds like a backhanded compliment 🤣 At any rate I think it turned out perfect!
The velvets that are about today clean up spills really easily 👍can you have some scatter cushions to match your curtains ? Looking very cosy for the winter .
Another job nearly done, will look great when you get your covers on. Sticky Velco might be better than staples - just in case you need to remove the covers to clean them at some stage?
Just enough room for an ES335. Staple guns are great. Is there enough curtain fabric left to use for the dinette cushions? "it would really tie the room together" as the Dude might have it.
Way to go James. What happened to the fiesta ? I think a sliding slat type arrangement is the best bet for the pull out bed. No need to be piss balling about with moving stuff about. Hope Rob your good self and family are all doing good. Have you started planning for the Christmas advent calender this year as it as become a xmas tradition !!
Poor Fester... 😢 I've got a staple gun you can have, but it won't get to you by the weekend, what with the postal strikes... Screwfix or Toolstation can probably sort you out for a few squid. All the best, mate.
I think that you need to research comfort more. One time I was creating a couch. Friends wife suggested that I substitute a single bed mattress. Worked perfectly. So for the bottom think about that.
Nicely done Jamesy ! Have you found a fabric yet ? Hope you didn’t get too high with the fumes ! Hope the week has treat you well ! Roll on the next episode ! X
If you decide to hire a seamstress to cover your dinette cushions, be sure to insist they match the pattern! As expensive as fabric is, you'd probably be wise to hire a seamstress. I'm interested to see how you use a staple gun on a piece of foam. I applaud you for planning ahead to use every available inch for storage.

Never cease to amaze us James. Sure it will look the Dogs B's when it's finished off.
What a beautiful few starting seconds of this clip. The colours are real autumn. And that sky behind the trees. Nicely done James.

What fantastic colours in the opening shot.
Hi James always a great video. Right from the start to date 👍
Hi James and good to see those left over jobs are underway. Keith

It is looking really good and nice to see some one know how to keep a knife sharp
A lovely video James. Your talents are never ending. Hope you continue videoing when boat is finished. Love watching you. Have great week 👍

Yeah I’ll do a walk through very soon.
I breathed in some fumes - seems a shame not to but I was fine thanks

Top "Foam Fettling" Young James. 🙂
Looks great. I love it when a plan comes together.
Great job sir James. Staple guns in pound land.
'our evening cup of tea' surely it was a brew with Rob no James ?! ;)

17:40 😁🤣 keep up the great work and channel. Mite see you about next time your down Watford/Ricky 👍🏼
Yeah that would be great - heading back there for winter I think
Great job ! Come a long way and your home is looking comfy
Looking forward to seeing you chilling on a finished dinette at some point soon!
That looks like it's going to be comfy indeed!
"opposite of dense" - that got me, and I looked up various dictionaries - turns out to be a difficult number, and the nearest I could get was "airy" or (in this case) "spongelike".
if you want wipe clean fabric, just get any old fabric and spray it with scotchguard a few times, works a treat.
Nice. Dont forget the big buttons that get used in the centre of seats (which I think hold the fabric in place and decoration)
James if you put another board the exact same size and thickness behind that then all the things you store won’t be seen. It could be permanently installed and then magnetize the board with the foam to it.
I was thinking that but there may be an occasion when I need the full bed and this way I can remove the back cushions and it’s clear

Looks terrific 👍
Thanks
You wait until you see the fabric - now it looks brill even if I say so myself

The velvets that are about today clean up spills really easily 👍can you have some scatter cushions to match your curtains ? Looking very cosy for the winter .
Oh yeah, scatter cushions in the curtain material will look really good against the new fabric I got !!
Another job nearly done, will look great when you get your covers on. Sticky Velco might be better than staples - just in case you need to remove the covers to clean them at some stage?
In the USA, FORD means either "Fit Or Repair Daily" or "Found On Road Dead". Its a running joke.
Just enough room for an ES335. Staple guns are great. Is there enough curtain fabric left to use for the dinette cushions? "it would really tie the room together" as the Dude might have it.
Ah yes - I could safely house one of them in there
I hope you use the same fabric as curtains

Hi James! Love the channel, I’m trying to find some foam for my campervan. Which foam shop did you visit during this video? Thanks mate

It’s pretty comfy so far
Although a few cushions may help
You need the door open for ventilation using contact adhesive
Nicely done Jamesy ! Have you found a fabric yet ? Hope you didn’t get too high with the fumes ! Hope the week has treat you well ! Roll on the next episode ! X
I had a decent high thanks 😊
Yes I got fabric….and it’s spot on perfect !!
Shame about the flame, onwards and upwards. I’ve missed you building stuff 👍

He will staple the fabric to the plywood backing is my guess with help from the adhesive spray. 🤔
A microfiber with waterproof scotchguard should withstand the abuse it's about to get lol
Mate when I first started watching your videos I was clean shaven..I’m now out of ZZ top…..hurry up….😂
Very good !! I reckon you’ll be all beard by the time this ends.
